Instead of asking why Hank didn't get what was a pretty tricky wrist shot, perhaps we should wonder why 3 of our players, including Gilroy, were all behind the play and within 10 feet of each other.

Epic defensive breakdown

I'm not going to ask Hank to stop every shot he faces from right between the circles. On a perfect shot (which Brown's was, right inside the post) from that spot on the ice...it's going in.

Yea 3 guys on one side of the ice, on one player.

Puck got through and the rest of it is in the net.

But have no fear the Rangers win tonight!!!!!

im pretty sure you missed the point.

Don't blame Hanky on that goal, blame the girl who someway found herself on the ice in a Girlroy jersey.

What an awful play. Looked like a peewee player learning how to backskate.

I told you . last game our pp did well. never will the same players be together again.
what did Girardi do to be taken off the pp. he makes some great passes and keeps it in better than a forward and can get the puck through.

As a goaltender, you aren't able to telegraph a spinning shot like that.

Combination of skill and luck from Brown, should not have gotten that opportunity to begin with though.

No im pretty sure people just have unrealistic expectations and look to pass blame on the superstar goaltender rather then a poorly constructed team by sather...

True, but all of those have been showing chemistry, and changing up the lines is not what I belive is the way to win in the long run.

I don't understand people who rip Lundqvist. They act as if there's anybody that's much better.

Thats because the Goalie is only as good as the defense in front of him.

And i know alot of people talk up our defense.....

But they are not that good a defense.

You don't understand? he hasn't looked good since the all-star break, he is flopping around on the ground like someone having a seizure. Biron has been excellent since the break, I would have loved for him to play tonight and Hank to play tomorrow.

Enlighten me then, you said an elite goaltender is supposed to bail out his team and I mentioned he did so on kopitar.

well my friend, no one is really ripping him. he had a fluke goal earlier and i pointed it out that it stung and that it was in fact a bad goal. and now a couple people are assuming i have the mentality of 'lets get lundqvist out of here asap because he sucks terribly!'

get over it, i would not want any other in the net, but that doesnt change the fact there was indeed, a fluke goal earlier. and when it happened, it stung to watch.
