Richie must have a small injury or something that he is being kept out of the lineup this long. They surely have to be resting him a bit for some reason

A win tonight + Sharks and Coyotes loss tonight = Kings first in the Pacific.

I thought someone mentioned it was also a back to back for the Rags and they have the Devils tomorrow. Nope, no doubt.

Edit: It is a back to back for them. I just looked at nhl.com. They do play the Devils tomorrow.

I kinda suddenly feel bad that Frolov is injured and is missing his first meeting against us I hope he gets better and sticks around the NHL, first time he is in Staples he will be guaranteed a hearty tribute and cheer from the crowd.

Anyways... We just need to keep our head to the grindstone. I believe we can keep this going. Need to keep the motivation high and plow through. Let's get some goals for Bernier tonight! GO KINGS!

Having a fresh body in a back to back is good, plus Richie is going to be motivated after being scratched for 3 games.

I'd love to see that. I wonder if Avery has the nads to go with Clifford. You have to wonder if any of these guys who have fought him watch video of Clifford before they play him. Just about everyone he has fought has been taken off guard by his style. He just drops the gloves and starts swinging and most of the guys he have fought have not been prepared for that. Carcillo got ****ing rag dolled by him. That was hilarious!

I(Hammond) asked Greene if he considered volunteering for shootout duty as well…

GREENE: “No. I gave up on that, I think, when I was 10.”

I give us a good shot.

Go Kings Go!

Why is Terry messing with a winning lineup?

I just ask three favors:

1. Get an early lead.

2. Hold on to said early lead. Giving up the lead three times last night sucked.

3. Don't let them score 30 seconds after the Kings score.

I want to see Ponikarovky given more ice time. He's playing his ass off, driving to the net, and creating chances when he's out there.

At least let him play with Loktionov. They both speak Russian and hang out off the ice. Maybe that'd have good chemistry.

He will get more ice time because Westgarth is scratched.
