Checked only recent one is Kessel for 2 firsts and a 2nd. Steep price but far from a charity.

Say what you want, but with Kessel in the lineup Boston would certainly have won at least one more game against against Philly, and with the way you guys have killed the Habs in the playoffs lately it would've been a Stanley Cup berth for Boston. You lost a really good chance by not having Kessel last year, and with his offence in your lineup this year, you guys could be an elite contender and not simply just a decent contender.

The goal is to win cups, and Boston has been at their best in a while the past three years, so that's your most likely window for a championship. Yeah maybe Seguin becomes a franchise centre, but Chara, Timmy, and even Savard are not getting any younger. So yeah, you guys probably win on paper, but so what, you may have missed out on a fantastic chance to win a cup which is the ultimate goal.

I wouldn't be as smirky and arrogant as you guys have been about this trade.

As a Habs fan, I wish that Kessel had stayed with the Bruins too, because no matter how you try to spin it, the Bruins have to like how things have worked out. They've given up a possible 40 goal scorer, but they haven't taken any if much of a step back. If they had remained healthy all year, they would probably be quite a bit ahead of where they are, which isn't too bad right now. Yes, Thomas, Chara and Savard aren't getting any younger, but because of the Leafs they have Rask and Seguin who can step in either right away or soon. Throw in the possibility of drafting a stud Dman this year and they are set for years. Yes, winning the cup is the goal, trading Kessel may prove to be more helpful in the long run for Boston than you may realize.

Boston have the assets to get both. But more needs to go to Toronto.

To Toronto: BOS 1st, Wheeler, Stuart
To Boston: Kaberle, PHI 3rd

To Atlanta: TOR 1st, MIN 2nd, Colborne
To Boston: Bogosian, Thorburn

Ok ok I get it haha, how about both our first for Bogosian. And throw colborne in the kaberle trade instead of wheeler.
