If Wheeler and a 1st could get Weiss, Boston would have already done it.

Why is Boston always rumored to be trading Wheeler? I was pissed when he wouldn't sign with the Coyotes. I thought he was going to be really good. It seems like he's been on the block ever since he got to Boston.

According to multiple sources (including Dreger, McKenzie, LeBrun and Murphy the bruins blogger), Wheeler is not going to Leafs if Kaberle goes the other way.

You can't get anything of real value for a 25 year old who has put up 25 points in 57 games (so far this year).

Certainly not Weiss, even if a 1st is included.

What would it cost to send him to a division rival? Wheeler could add some size to our top 9 and if he isnt too expensive, I really think the habs should consider him as an option.

Do you want size or someone who has size and uses it?

If you're looking for a physical player, Blake isn't it.

Boston fans don't like him because he is big and doesn't hit. Kind of avoids the areas of the ice that can get you hit. $2M is a decent price for his production. Don't want to trade him unless they have to.

If we traded Connolly. I'd give a 3rd to the Bruins for Wheeler. Then Try him at center.

I was thinking he could be a good starting point to make this team a bit bigger. Even if he doesn't use his size as much as he should, it's still a good thing to have some big boys on the ice.

Sort of like Gill, he's a big guy who doesn't use his size (at least physically) but it's always good to have a big guy like him in the line-up.

How can you watch the Bruins and say this? He spends the whole game in the corners.

Obviously he needs to go in the corner if the puck is there, but he won't leave himself vulnerable to make a play. He isn't going to stand in front of the net and battle for position but no one on the team is great at that. I actually like Wheeler as a $2m player just saying why others don't. I don't think everyone on the team needs to play a physical style to earn a paycheck.

I doubt Wheeler gets "dumped" for an insignificant pick. He's a good two-way 3rd liner who can play every forward position.

Leafs arent getting Wheeler. Dreger says hes being traded as soon as Kelly clears immigration so that the Bruins can do the Kaberle trade. Hes going somewhere else.

Wheeler is a non physical perimeter player...who happens to be tall...I suggest he is worth a 3rd at best..

He is NOT A POWER FORWARD any suggestion otherwise is a ridiculous joke...

I would be downright disappointed if Burke took Wheeler for Kaberle. I just don't like Wheeler and I feel if Burke gave up on Versteeg why would he want Wheeler
