Honestly, I think we have the edge for the next period. Great kill and Bob is on fire right now.

We come out strong in the 3rd and take this win for Bobo!

This has been a tight game.

I have a good feeling about the third period for our guys. Bob + Betts = Double Beast Mode tonight.

Bob has been fantastic. At least they team woke up after the first period. That kill was massive!

Kinda reminds me of the Devils game a few weeks ago. Really bad first period down 2-0 and we lost 2-1. Just the way the game has been going. We have a difficult time facing uphill battles. Sometimes it be nice to play an opponent like us that would let us back in the game

Skinner would get obliterated in the old NHL trying to stand in front of the net. Imagine what Hatcher would do to him.

Nothing wakes a player up more than their coach shouting directly at the other team. Absolutely admire Lavy. Remember that last PK.

Seriously... I think we should trade off Carcillo, Zherdev and maybe Shelley. I seriously think that Wellwood should replace all 3. Fiesty, fast and smart. Better hands than Carcillo or Shelley.

You put too much faith in a player with no experience at the NHL level. Thrusting him into a checking role on a contending team in the playoffs?

No.

One of these 3 is not like the others.

Seriously though, I don't see a good reason to throw Wellwood into the lineup right now. He has 2 games of NHL experience and the only role he would fit into right now is on a 4th pk/checking line; a position quite frankly Carcillo or Shelley are indeed better suited to fulfill right now.

Of course we can always just waive shelley, trade Carcillo, and dress Zherdev full time when Lappy miraculously comes back in time for the Playoffs and go on an awesome, team-inspiring run (well, a guy can dream )

He didn't shoot it wide. Ward made a great save, Carter would've hit the safety netting.

Frank from Daily News is saying "something is cooking" regards to Winter Classic in Philadelphia, maybe where the Phillies play. Therien said he has heard "rumblings."

Carcillo has actually had a decent game.

Shelley is useless for this game. Zherdev should of dressed up for this one.

We covered this already. We know Carcillo has a playoff OT goal.
