He's #3 d-man. I'm among those who don't think Vlasic is being moved. The Sharks need another top-4 d-man. Not give one up.

A few Sharks posters have made a decent argument to that 2 minor-league guys are up for a cup of coffee. But I'm still of the opinion that the selection of Petrecki at least is very odd.

Why would he be traded? If he was part of a trade, he wouldn't have played at all. Randy even said he was being evaluated by the medical staff.

And it's too soon to bring Braun up. For all we know, Vlasic could be back on Saturday.

Depends on the injury. If it's a day to day thing, there's no point bring Braun in for a short stint. If it's something that will take a while then it would. Don't have enough information to make any call like that.

Vaasa vs Pinkfloyd fight would be very entertaining. Vaasa would bring a bunch of young nephews and cousins to fight for him, while Pinkfloyd would start an endless debate about how they shouldn't fight.

I'm very scared of the rebuild conversation tactic you'd use to bore me to death. lol

Wrong...I'd bring my Patrick Marleau bobblehead and that thing they handed out a few years back that had Nabby, Stuart, and Marleau inside each other. I forgot what the hell it was called. Then I'd yell at him until I'm red in the face about how Marleau is the greatest player to ever play the game...or I'd flash him with a track suit and run away.

Hey, I have some tough cousins... And I would probably need the help. I seem to remember that PF has 15 or so years on me.

Yes. Doug Wilson ordered someone to injure Vlasic so he could trade him.

And just like that, two pieces of personal information have been revealed.

Is it unethical to ridicule men over 40?

NTC/NMC: Marleau, Thornton, Heatley, Wallin, Boyle

Untouchables (aside from the NTC/NMC): Couture, Clowe

Only if it's unethical to ridicule track-suit wearing college students.

To the untouchables add Demers.

And add a 3rd group, the "you would have to overpay in a MASSIVE way (relative to their position) to get" group.

That consists of: Pavelski, Nichol, Murray

I'd personally add Seto to that group, but some would disagree.

And then among the prospects, you can almost guarantee that Braun, Doherty, and Coyle as about as untouchable as a prospect can get in the Sharks org.

Any rumour started because a player leaves a game is complete bull****.
Actually they do. It does happen occasionally. The idea being that it prevents a player from being injured.

With the sharks goalie situation right now "NItty hurt and Stalock out for the year it is doubtful the sharks will trade Niemi, Hutton, or Sexsmith.

It doesn't happen often in the nhl but in baseball it happens a couple times a year.

Hutton has no future with the org as far as I know. So I could see him being traded and a minor-league guy signed to a PTO in order to backup in the AHL if necessary.

I don't see Sateri being traded, as I believe he's eligible to come over without going through waivers. I hope they don't trade Griess, but I could see that happening, as it does not affect either the NHL or AHL situations at this point. And Griess can't come back this season without going through waivers.
