Was just over at the Dogpatch reading Porty's blog. WTH? Has Scott (A) pissed off the portly one? His nose seems a little bent out of shape. I guess that's better than brown. LOL

That and if they can finally turn the corner in divisional play. Especially Nashville.

And even if they don't make the playoffs, I think this draft is pretty deep this year so picking in the 10-15 range isn't as bad imo as it would have been last year. I'd rather see this team continue to play well this year, last year I was all for tanking after that horrible stretch.

Maybe I'm a bit selfish since I already have tickets to later games, but I'd prefer those games mean something when I go to them

I've heard just the opposite; the draft this year isn't going to be as good as it has been recently.

Hate to put so much stock into one game, but if we win I still think we have an outside chance at the playoffs. A loss here in regulation tonight pretty much kills our chances.

Come on Jackets!!! Lets keep fighting!!!!

@aportzline Hearing that #CBJ D Marc Methot is out tonight vs #Blackhawks with an undisclosed injury. That puts D John Moore in lineup for 2nd NHL game.

So Methot is out and Moore is in. Thinking maybe these lines:

Hedja-Tyutin
Clitsome-Stralman
Moore-Russell

Can't remember who Moore was paired with when Stralman sat against Edmonton.

Send a message via AIM to Timeless Winter
Clitsome-Stralman
Moore-Russell

Potentially disasters in our own zone. Hope that Tyutin and Hejda are split up.

"if a dog's gonna bite, he's gonna bite when he's a pup" as John Cooper would say. Moore with a goal and assist!

that was just my lack of attention to his status

i suppose i could substitute mason's name in for rj, but he was due for a 6 goal night so it's probably good he is out.

I don't know what to predict tonight.
Hoping for a win. With 25 games to go there is still plenty of time

@aportline #CBJ line rushes look like: Nash - Vermette - Voracek; Calvert - Umberger - Huselius; Murray - Pahlsson - Clark; Moreau - McKenzie - Boll.
