Recovering Wild players: A bond develops

Outstanding article on what's up with Jimmy Sheppard and Josh Harding. There are goodies such as this:

Quote:
By the bench Sheppard grabbed a board and started drawing up a drill.

"Class, class," he called out, smiling. Zidlicky skated up. "What's up, Coach?" he said. Harding laughed. "Coach? He doesn't even know how to spell the word."
And it looks like neither player will be back by the end of the season. On the plus side, it's great to see the work ethic the two are employing to come back from their knee injuries.

How awesome would it be if Sheppard actually improved? I have no doubt that kid worked his tail off last summer, and probably this year as well. Unfortunately, you've got to have the hockey IQ.

Funny thing is in his draft year he was supposed to be one of the smartest players. What the hell happened?

Whoever took this picture stole his soul. It's the only logical solution.

Sheppard is still an RFA.

It'll be interesting how Fletcher deals with his situation.
