the Huskins - Wallin pairing makes me throw up in my mouth.

Sooooo

Whos going to sneak around and find out how injured Vlasic is?

The D got better regardless, if white finds his game it got a LOT better.

Yeah - maybe playing on a contender will help boost his game up. Toronto, Calgary and Carolina aren't exactly moistening anyones panties as of lately.

If Vlasic is out:

Boyle - Murray
White - Demers
Huskins - Braun
Wallin

maybe?

Not bad, but a little soft.

Good deal for the Sharks. There will still be another deal or transaction on the horizon to accommodate White's cap hit but this is what their blue line needs. Sending Wingels and Petrecki back down will put them at cap roughly so one more move will be needed to create wiggle room. Best case scenario is they do something to rid themselves of Wallin but realistically, we're looking at moving either Torrey Mitchell or Kent Huskins.

Still a few oddities to be sorted out.

1) Enough cap space even with Niitty to LTIR?

2) Why two separate trades with CAR if all that was involved is Joslin and picks?

3) Why no Demers on roster?

Probably overreactions, but curious to say the least.

Well Petrecki never was on the roster. Maybe the staff is messing something up?

I'm going to go ahead and say I don't think the website programmer was the first guy DW called to get the changes made up... probably just a mistake.

I think you guys are fine cap-wise; Capgeek has your available space before LTIR at around $1,000,000 so with Nitty's $2,000,000 LTIR buffer you should be able to add White without any further moves...though you'll be right up against that LTIR buffer so activating Nitty probably can't occur until the playoffs at the earliest short of waiving some other guy.

With Niittymaki on LTIR, they would have the cap space for White.

I have no idea why they have two separate deals for it.

I don't know why Demers isn't on their website roster but his player card is still available if you search for it.

Even with Niittymaki creating space for White, there will still have to be another move made for when Niittymaki comes off LTIR whenever that may be.

Personally, I'm hoping that the next move is Wallin to anywhere just to free up #7 for White. lol
