Daytona 500 until 5, then pre-match coverage.

The 500 won't finish at 5, it never does, so expect the pre-match to start late.

I believe it was Joel Bouchard who said yesterday Darche is injured and expects to be out around a week.

He didn't practice yesterday, only put the uniform on for the team picture.

We're in Quebec. Hockey takes priority over no matter what.
Daytona 500, if it doesn't finish at 5, will be transfered to RIS.

Go Habs!!!

4-3 Habs Win

Cammalleri X2
Plekanec
Subban

Cammalleri!! Gosh, I've missed him.

I'm expecting (well, demanding) a good game by the Habs.

I love that I paid about $160 for the NHL Gamecenter Online package to watch games away at college and yet I can't watch any games on Versus or the NHL Network, like this one. It's a load of bull.

Hopefully there's a really nice quality stream.

Hi guys, just so you know:

I don't know if it's the case anywhere else, but here in Montreal, the game is broadcasted in 3D (Illico, #800), you don't need a 3D TV, you only need the red/blue glasses (not the grey ones from the movie theaters).

You can buy those glasses at SuperClub Vidéotron for about 7$/pair.

I don't see how the Habs can win this one with the type of team they have....

From what I posted on the main board

Hopefully the ice doesn't fall apart. I think it's the only concern for now. Well that and sunlight at the beginning of the game I think.

My understand is that the weather was going get better (warmer) today but this wasn't the biggest concern. AFAIK the biggest concern was the ice, there were a lot of issues with the ice during the Old Timer's game yesterday with some of the guys (Brunet for example) saying the ice was too brittle and NHL players couldn't and shouldn't play on that ice. NHL covered the ice overnight with a tarp and was going to be constantly putting moisture on it to avoid it getting like that for today.

Also Auld complained about the sun on the Eastern side of the stadium (looking west towards the side with no stands), he said he could barely see the puck. We'll see if the later start time solves that.

The way they've won 31 times before tonight?

It doesn't hurt to have a little faith you know. And if you do have a little faith, and they end up losing, it's not the end of the world.

Big national game, one of the biggest stages you could have.

That being said, despite Cammalleri's injury I expect him to have a very good game. He is dynamite in these situations; see 100th anniversary game and 2010 playoffs. Subban is going to be extra flashy today, too.

Sunset at 5:59pm (local time) in Calgary. It shouldn't be a problem
