Didn't know where to post it so I'll post it here. Just been looking at the Habs' and Bruins' schedule as the Bruins are set to go out West, and play the same 3 teams the Habs are, starting on the 22nd. Big difference though in how the two teams have the trip scheduled.

Montreal

Feb. 15 vs. Buff
Feb. 17 @ Edm
Feb. 20 @ Cal
Feb. 22 @ Van
Feb. 24 vs. Tor
Feb. 26 vs. Car

Boston

Feb. 18 @ Ott
Feb. 22 @ Cal
Feb. 26 @ Van
Feb. 27 @ Edm
Mar. 1 @ Ott
Mar. 3 vs. TBay

The Bruins have a 3 day break before playing Calgary and a 3 day break before playing Vancouver. I mean that is a pretty favoured schedule for the Bruins, who are in the same division as the Habs, and you could make the argument that that gives the Bruins a competitive advantage. I know there are logistics involved, and I'm not screaming conspiracy here, but the league should do a better job as far as consistency in schedules among division rivals.

oh yeah, true. Minnesota.

I was wondering for a second what Calgary had to do with the Eastern conference. Barely thought for a second that the NHL had moved on to 3pt regulation wins.

I don't know that the Bruins have the "upper edge" in that scheduling. They play 5 games on the road in a row, including 3 in 4 nights.

As per Gagnon, Wiz is playing today, so is Gill, Cammy and Mara. Picard is replaced.

Pyatt or Eller will play, decision will be made during the warmup

Wow .. just a brutal decision by Jacques Martin to play Mara ahead of Picard, not only is Picard probably better.. but for a game like today, Picard was soooo excited and has been with the Habs all year.. they should of played him in this game...that is my opinion anyways ..

Pretty sure that Martin doesn't care about that. It a regular game like any other.

I hope we see a good game tonight.

Hopefully the ice is better than yesterday and the weather is not like the Pittsburgh Washington game.

Le Canadien aura droit à du renfort pour cette partie alors que Michael Cammalleri reprendra sa place dans la formation après avoir soigné une blessure à une épaule. Cammalleri va se retrouver en compagnie de Benoit Pouliot et de David Desharnais.

Wiz should be allowed to punch any teammate in the face who doesn't show up for a game for the rest of the season.

pretty sure DD and Cammy are playing together. With who though? Pouls would be a good fit if they are able to adjust to the correct wings.

edit: nm, just noticed that it is in fact the case as posted above
