Crosby has now missed 1/3 of the season so far, and still has more points than Ovechkin.

Mind = Blown.

I'd love to see the haters tell me he's not the best player in the NHL.

I'm going rock climbing today with my Caps fan friend. How high should I let him get before the drop?

I wonder if we'll see Keven Veilleux make his NHL debut? How's Staal doing after the puck to the face?

Staal was like simple-jack when he took that slapper to the face.

I couldn't believe he didnt at least attempt to move out of the way with that Letang slapper coming straight to his dome.

Preview of the 2011 Conference Quarterfinals?

Also, taking into account all of the OT losses the Caps have had this year, they're pretty much a .500 team with a bunch of extra points for losing in OT.

With all of that said, don't have a good feeling about tonight's game. I haven't really had a good feeling before any game though over the past 6 weeks.

If the caps lose Brooks Laich to free agency they're in trouble. Knuble isn't getting any younger. Without those two guys they start looking like a 1 line team.

They'll have a lot of money to play with in FA though, and young guys like Kuznetsov, Eakin, and Johansson progressing through the ranks.

Sadly, they're around to stay.

That's all true, but it's risky betting that much on kids and potential UFAs.

Martin will be a game time decision thanks to Sharp's hit.

Yup. And it's risky as hell. I do think Shero is in a bit better position with centre depth though. Crosby, Malkin, and Staal can make AHL wingers look passable. To me Backstrom is the only guy on the Caps that can carry a couple scrubs in a worst case scenario.

Why did it have to be Kunitz Letestu Jeffery Tangradi and Johnson to have gotten hurt lately and not Dupuis

I'm gonna be watching Sterling and Wallace closely tonight. I thought they both had good games yesterday.
