Last night on Sportsnet Connected, there was a Sources Say segment where John Shannon mentioned specifically that Dale Tallon was asking for 2 #1's each for Stephen Weiss and Bryan McCabe. Schenn and Simmonds if being dangled for a top player will not be for Richards as Lombardi wants a player under contract or a RFA pending contract, he isn't parting with that talent for a rental in the same conference that is for sure.
I don't know why anyone who give a lot to get Richards... the guy's a UFA and has a concussion... he might miss several weeks with that type of injury.

In fairness to Eklund, not many rumours in the past 5 years involving the Habs have ever been right.
As for your question, I don't have an answer for that as we (mods) don't really have a say in who is considered "legit" and who isn't.
So until this situation is changed, if ever. He's considered legit, and there really is nothing we as posters can do about it.

AK has probably more pure talent than any player in the Habs lineup
How many years have we been hearing that? At some point he needed to put down the Shish-Taouks and display that talent consistently, but that ship has sailed.
You can have all the hockey talent in the world, but having the hockey sense of a mule will pretty much limit you to 40-45 points a year.

Cause I really need to two guys on RDS to tell how bad Kostitsyn is. He could have all the talent in the world, he should trade some for some heart. Guys with that much talent don't miss open nets
