Koivu and Clutter are game time decisions, which probably just means they'll just re-aggravate their injures. It's basically the Wild's last chance to stay in the playoff race. And it's against the best team in the league. This one's gonna sting.
The big things for tonight in my mind are staying out of the box. Obvious, but with how hot the Sedins and Kesler have been we have to keep our composure. Also our 3rd and 4th lines have got to come ready to play because with Vancouver's additions at the deadline they are running 4 lines and we can't afford an off shift. Also not letting Lapierre and Burrows do what they do best. It's a huge task, but we gotta be in control.
The first few posts in this thread guaranteed you guys a win. Typically, when opposing fans feel like there's no hope of beating the Canucks and mark the game down as a loss before it even begins, they end up winning. So, keep up the negativity!
But seriously, try not to get shutout (even though I'd love it). I seem to remember the Oilers being shut out three straight times immediately after trading Smyth. I browsed the Oilers forum afterwords and they were on the brink of suicide.
