Well, when you add Dupuis to that line you get a -4 so that still equals 101

uhh what? how does 87 + 18 - 9 = 101?? Whoever suggested adding Michalek which would be -4 to give you 101 would be correct. Not sure what in the world you are talking about.

87 + 18 = 105, 9 = 9

105.9 = the X's call sign

I got that part. I was referring to an above post that said adding dupuis to crosby and neal gave a -4 which equaled 101. so that's where i was confused. anyways it doesn't really matter. I made a big deal out of nothing haha.

He meant that Dupuis is effectively subtraction by addition. Or, put another way, Dupuis isn't very good.

1059 The X sucks.

I don't get the format of the show at all. Either play bad alternative music from the 90's or let Mark Madden run his mouth. You gotta pick one!!! can't have both!

Bylsma's saying Neal - Staal - Kennedy will be a line against the Stars which should be good to see.

I don't like X music for the most part, but the mere fact that both morning show and Madden show will for periods of time only take Penguins calls keeps me listening.

Yeah, Pens talk on Pittsburgh sports radio is few and far between. You take what you can get.

I'm interested to see how Staal performs whenever he doesn't have the artist formerly known as Pascal Dupuis or some other slap dick on his line.

Well, Neal is similar to Kunitz and Staal had success with him for a brief stint. That could be good.

On the topic of looking too far ahead, wouldn't:

Kunitz - Crosby - Malkin
Neal - Staal - Kennedy

be kind of awesome?
