I wonder if Vegas has an over under odds of which team will see an injury to a defense man first?

It's either going to be a Van blowout or a tight win for us. I'll keep the faith and say;

If the Habs don't play any better than what they did the past 2 games in Alberta this one could get real ugly against a powerful Canucks offense..

Even though both teams defenses are having major injury problems that Canucks offense will still win them games despite the injuries on defense.. Sadly we can't say the same for the Habs with their putrid offense..

habs win 4-1

Price steals the show with a 35+ save performance, Subban opens the scoring, Cammalleri nets 2, and Gomez puts one into an empty net.

RDS just said that Gorges wanted a contract and the Habs told him they won't give him one until the off season !

Probably want to keep cap space for this season if PG is still planning on making a trade. Especially if it's for a rental. Still, kind of a slap in face.

The new contract wouldn't make a difference for this year smithsonhab.. Gorges would be signing an extension so it wouldn't kick in until next season..

I see. I figured I had something wrong there. I guess I was hoping to make excuses for the management team. Kind of weird they wouldn't want to sign him now. You think it would help them plan their D lineup for next year. Regardless, thanks for the info.

1999 in movies:

- Stars Wars episode I was the top grossing film of the year followed by The Sixth Sense.
- American Beauty won the Academy Award for Best Picture.
- Toy Story 2 was released in 1999.
- Denzel Washington won Best Actor for his role in The Hurricane.

1999 in music:

- Britney Spears released her hit singled ''Hit me baby one more time''
- Mambo no5 was also a hit for some reason
- Eiffel 65 released their only hit ever in ''I'm Blue''
- The Backstreet Boys had the no1 selling album of the year with ''Millenium''.
- Carlos Santana won album of the year at the Grammy Awards.

Also in 1999:

- Bill Clinton was still President of the U.S.A
- Jean Chretien still had a strong Liberal majority in Canada.
- Lucien Bouchard was the premier of Quebec.
- Jeffrey Loria was about to purchase the Expos.
- I was in grade 6 of elementary.
- Habs beat the Canucks 3-1 in Vancouver.

Yes 1999 was not so long ago...

I've seen their last few games; their D is kind of weak with all the injuries, but we seem to never take advantage of situations like that. Plus Hamhuis and maybe Ballard will be back. Also they forecheck like crazy and put so much pressure on the D, Hamrlik will likely end up -3 tonight. Oh and forget winning any kind of battle along the boards tonight lol.

5-2 Vancouver.

Hopefully I got it all wrong.

EDIT: Sauve assigned to AHL, Ballard is most likely playing.
