Price played every game of a 3 game western Canadian trip including an outdoor game and is coming off a huge emotional win vs the Canucks all the way in Vancouver. I think it screams bad game for Price so I agree with this decision.

Auld won't be the difference maker. The whole team MUST play at its best to beat the hot Leafs.

I find it a bit weird to put Auld when Price shutout the Leafs at their 2 last visits to the Bell center, but I can understand that he's been used a lot in the last week and that the Vancouver game was big for him. But still, I would've felt a lot better with him in the net tonight than Auld.

not happy with the choice to start Auld who has lost to the Leafs already this year earlier in December, although the team did play like crap that night.
Oh well at least this one is at home I wonder if they Match Gill on Kessell all night?
They must not want to overwork Price but no upcoming back to backs for a couple weeks.

The Leafs are playing hungry because they don't want to give up a top 5 pick (but a top-10 pick in the 6-10 range isn't all that much because it's supposedly a weak draft year)

Habs 3-2*.

It will be another close game between the teams. The Habs will eek out a 4-3 victory tonight (Gionta, Subban, Plekanec, and Gomez for the habs with Kessel, Rosehill, and Grabovski scoring for the Leafs).
