Agree..two straight PP goals against? That's laughable. Gotta kill them off to start the game. I knew starting Auld was gonna be the kiss of the death. Not that two of the goals were his fault, but the 2nd one sure was.

Reffing sucked....but the Habs lost this one all by themselves.

You can't say they weren't a factor. They closed their eyes far too often when the habs were getting hung all over. Yeah, the habs dug their own grave with their terrible effort at the end and their terrible PP's, but the refs didn't mind piling on the earth.

Not a good game. Personally it's better that we are slumping now as opposed to just before the playoffs. The sky isn't falling, but with the defence playing so awfully when our forwards are so mediocre it doesn't bode well.

Also, Gomez needs to go.

Change the thread title to Jaques Martin should have started Price.

The ref's didn't help but I think it's better to blame Martin for the dumb-*** decision to start Auld.

Refs were terrible for both teams tonight... both had 6 powerplays and not all were warranted on either end.

2 full minutes that we couldn't get out of our zone to even pull Price... That was pathetic.

Game was lost when they decided to start Auld.

Not saying he was at fault for all his goals, only the 2nd really, but it sends a bad message to your team when you start the backup. It tells them that you're playing an inferior team and it didn't reflect the importance of the game.

Funniest moment of the night: Watching Martin nervously nodding to whatever Muller's plan was during that time out

Like I said on the main board, I would be pissed as a fan if I paid to attend that game.

That last shift by the Gomez's line was a big fail, which killed any hope for an "empty netted" offense. They were playing so far away from our Ds that we didn't even see them on the TV screen for the whole time when the puck was still in the Habs zone.

Anyways, Refs were the stars of this game. Well done!

Honestly

SELL SELL SELL

We aren't gong anywhere in the playoffs...get real...not with pathetic players like Gomez.

Sell for picks in 2012, whatever you can get.

Do NOT trade the kids, trade the vets!

Hammer, Gil, Wiz, Moen, Halpren can all help other teams....

PG you'd be a genius if you can get ANYTHING for Gomez and AK.... and I mean ANYTHING.

The refs played no part in this. There were questionable calls, but this loss was completely on the team. The whole team, for the most part. Price was the only member of the Habs locker room who showed up, and he didn't even get to start. I can't help but think if he did, we would've won.

The most pathetic thing? Pacioretty scores with nearly 3 minutes left, and they give up. They have all the momentum in front of a home crowd who want to see a last minute thriller, and what do they do? Give the puck away for 2 minutes and let the Leafs control play. Pathetic. We didn't deserve to win and we didn't. Good for the Leafs tonight, they were better.

Well Weber made it easy to take him out of the lineup.
