Tedenby

Since Tedenby is back to his 7-8 minutes per game, what plans do you think Lemaire has for him?

Teach him the way of the Jedi.

Seriously though... It seems like he's got the bad luck of playing on the third line where JL likes to slot in Kovy for his double shifting.... That more than him playing bad or anything like one would probably assume with 7-8 minutes a night. JL has rolled all 4 lines a decent amount.

Lemaire has plans to turn him into a productive top 6 forward who is not a liability offensively.

Oh good, Nordic is back. We're not trading him to Detroit. Get lost.

He's been on a pretty lame third line these days. But there is no room in the top 6, because the other 2 lines are playing too well to break up

He's a rookie, and is learning the game. He's been put in important spots before, but there's nothing wrong with slowly bringing him along on a winning team. Especially when it allows Kovalchuk to play 25 mins a game.

Unfortunately he's on a line with Arnott. Man I'd like to see Josefson in Arnotts spot. There would probably be a few growing pains, but man would that line be more explosive and dangerous in the offensive zone. Frankly, I think they'd be better in the defensive zone too.

Liability offensively? Did you mean defensively?

Has he really been that bad defensively?

I calculated points/total ice-time and he was like 4-5:th on the team - and while being 11:th on the team in pp-time.

I seriously hope we don't even consider moving him. This team has too often traded away young players for old guys whose contracts expire forcing them to sign much more expensive replacements. I trust Lou, but they need to hold onto young talent.

Yes, you're right, I meant defensively. My mistake.

He isn't that much of a liability, because he is willing to commit to positional defence. But he gets muscled off the puck easily, doesn't quite have his positioning figured out, and sometimes leaves the zone too early to "cherry pick". I'm sure Lemaire will work with him on these things.

Detroit can have him for Eaves. We need more grinders for Lemairasaurus.

Give him time-this is his first year of North American hockey. The game is much different. He is a class player. He'll understand the flow of the game more with time.

I'm with Kyle on this one. Lemaire definitely plans to eat him. He doesn't play much as to not burn off fat and decrease the fat/meat ratio in Lemaire's teddyburgers.

26-30-4 is hardly a winning team.

What about 16-1-2? Is that a winning team? Get out of here with your pessimism.
