To Los Angeles: Clark MacArthur, Joe Colborne, 2011 1st(Boston's)
To Toronto: Brayden Schenn, Alexei Ponikarovsky

Ponikarovsky can move back to his spot with Grabovski and Kulemin for the season, and the Leafs get a player they really covet at the expense of recently acquired assets.
I appreciate the comedy. Its nice to be able to laugh on a snowy day. Thank you so much.

To keep the joke going, shouldn't the Kings add Doughty to keep it fair?

No Thanks

As a Leaf fan; stop this B.Schenn non-sense. We have prospects in our system rated as 8C; which is equal to him; in Kadri and Colborne, both of whom have had more seasoning in the AHL, while Brayden is still playing junior. Kadri's a PPG player and 2nd in that respect for ALL rookies in the AHL this year, and Colborne looks like a stud. If anything we need a 1st line C to hold the Fort for a season or two while these players continue to develop. Brayden is gonna be a star in this league, but, we also have stars in the making, so, let's not sell our club short.

Leafs fans that continue to pollute the boards with their ridiculous proposals for Brayden Schenn deserve a stiff slap across the face. You guys sound like a bunch of children who repeatedly keep asking for something that your parents can't afford. You lack discipline!

I dont like the proposal but its funny how so many kings fans think B. schenn is already a star in the NHL. ohh any trade including schenn would would need to have kessel . That is equally as laughable as this thread.

Kings fans realize that he is far from a star or a sure thing.
Toronto fans need to realize that the Kings aren't going to trade the guy for anything short of an elite talent, which Kessel isn't.

A player like Schenn ,on an ELC, is invaluable to a team that will be starting to make it's run.

Colborne got traded because he looked pretty pedestrian this year at the AHL level for an "8.0 C". Using "AHL seasoning" as an upside should probably have him succeeding at that level as well.

Untrue...Colbourne got traded because Burke wouldn,t take Wheeler. This kid is going to be good. Already lighting it up for the Marlies.

Or not inexplicably signed Martin Gerber to go on a season-closing winning streak. Lol but Brian Burke is the best GM ever!

Ok...we won't get Schenn. I know, but Kessel not a talent?? last 2 years, 36 and 30 goals in 70 games, won a cancer battle, had shoulder surgery and still scored 30 last year, will score 30+ this year on a line with a mediocore center, all this at 23 years old. I'll take him. I like B.Schenn, i'd like to have him here. But as i said with Seguin. I'll take the NHL proven Kessel over an unproven Schenn.

Totally agree....asking price on Schenn will be huge, and i like our direction finally. Sign Macarthur for 3yrs 8MIL. And let Colbourne and Kadri prove thier worth.

Saying hes "lighting it up" is a stretch for a 3 game window. I guess Schenn lit the AHL on fire on his 7 game stint? Kadri love I understand, but Colbourne love is pretty questionable at this point.

His 8.0 rating isn't a myth. Check the Boston boards prior to the Kaberle trade, they were saying the kid was not moveable, after, Wheeler was better, then peddaled Wheeler to ATL. I'm not comparing him to Schenn. I think Schenn will be great, my point was instead of overpaying for him i'd rather see what our own prospects will do. Furthermore, a 3 game window may not be alot, but putting up numbers on a new team within a new system says alot.

If LA was dangling Schenn do you really think this would be the best offer Dean would get? do you?

Please stop with the "B Schenn to Toronto" proposals. It's really starting to borderline an addiction. Seek help now.

I lol'd at this one. 60G 14pts +2 on a bad team, plays 25mins a game, hits a ton and has nothing but upside.

Ya...we're hosing them here. Comparing D-men to forwards doesn't work.

Not a Leafs fan at all - but Schenn is ridiculously overvalued on these boards.

Offering a D-man to LA would be complete stupidity on Burke's part. We are absolutely slopping over with D-men! Don't you TO fans get that? God you guys are Fn hopeless.

Attention all none LA fans (this includes you TO)......we still don't need your goalies or D-men!!!!
