You clearly haven't been watching the Devils since Lemaire took over. Kovy has been on fire in terms of point production, and he's even playing defence now too.

Goalies are too big of a risk...Bernier would have to turn into a top 10-15 goalie in the league, otherwise the Devils are just stuck with below average goaltending. No way you trade a proven star like Parise for a package around an unproven goalie.
