the reason the coyotes say no to this trade is why wolski got traded to ny, spezza is a 75-85 pt per season guy, but if he doesnt fit the system then his value to the team is severally damaged. Im not saying spezza and wolski are equals, but i could see this being like a olli jokinen type trade
Jokinen went from a weak division where he could hog the puck and shoot it a ton, Spezza comes from a division with Miller, Rask, Thomas, and Price and he's a playmaker with no one to pass to. He's better than Olli ever was, works harder than Olli ever has, is better all around than Olli ever was... Not to mention Spezza's most recognizable trait is his ridiculous optimism and enjoyment of new experiences. Olli never wanted to be there, but Spezza is the kind of guy who would find every possible positive in a new situation because he knows he has to.
