Great to see Goligoski doing well on the scoresheet.

Hey Razor, when isn't Jamie Benn outstanding? 2 straight with an empty netter?

Ott's winning the faceoffs but he isn't clearing the zone very well.

Morrow fell down and there were all kinds of open Nashville players in front... yikes.

This might be good for us? Win it and dump it down and we win. But we need to win the faceoff

Pens fan watching the game. Awesome game by Goose! Glad to see him doing well. The more aggressive he is offensively, the better he is. Pretty good stick work today defensively today too.

Stars WIN!!!

Feels like forever since we had back to back wins. Hard to believe we already have what, 4 3+ game win streaks on the year before our disastrous past few weeks?

Time to get back on track! GO STARS GO!!!!

A pre-game excerpt from On the Forecheck, Nashville's version of Defending Big D:

"And while Predators fans clamor for David Poile to respond to losses with a big trade, the Stars already made theirs, the indefensibly bad Neal-for-Goligoski. For Predators fans perhaps not familiar with the involved players, there's an easy analogy: Dallas traded Patric Hornqvist to get Cody Franson. They got a nice third-pairing defenseman with power-play skills at the expense of a first/second line scoring-winger. Don't you wish we could make that trade?"

Oh well...someone's eating apple-sauce.

Well we did it for your team too, of course.

A Nashville regulation loss helps a whole bunch of teams!

I've gone from a "neutral" towards the Stars to my favorite WC team because of Goose. Glad to see he had a great game, and glad to see he's finally not hesitant to fire away.

Good win for your team, congrats.

Huh. I'm confused, is he suggesting that Franson could have been had for Neal in pretty much the same deal?

In Nashville terms, this guy's knowledge of Stars hockey is about as long as Barry Trotz's neck.

****!

What a game. What a win! So many times we could have lost it. That feed to the net with 7 seconds left could have gone in. My heart stopped in my throat when I saw that. Kari bailed us out after that huge rebound in the 2nd.

GoGo looks great! Still very happy with that trade. We haven't seen confidence moving the puck from the blue line like that since Zubov. It's so refreshing and adds another dynamic to our game.

Jamie Benn is so ****ing good. I can't believe it. Everytime he's on the ice he was making huge plays. I can't wait until he breaks out for a second time.

GO STARS!
