See my post #117. I posted my first time loge experience for selling tickets I did not use.
Talked to my rep at he game Thurs night. He said they are a few scattered singles remaining in the balcony. And there were 3 or 4 groups of 3 loges together. Nothing left for pairs anywhere.

Should be no problem switching at select-a-seat!

Maybe they should make a trading website for people who would like to switch locations instead of going for unoccupied seats?

I'm in cheap seats on the 2x side, willing to spend more, maybe there is someone out there who wants to get cheaper seats and would be willing to give up a better location.

I like the idea of a trading section. Select A Seat is a waste of time for everyone when the seats are sold out.

You SHOULD be able to find B's fans to buy any seats for THAT game.

Wow surprising. I added a single the minute I renewed because already I was feeling a little overwhelmed at pressure from freinds should we make a deep run and the dilemma about going/who to bring/selling to make a needed buck can be stressful.

I was probably one of the first to act on this and grab a single because I got 306 row 11 first row of the cheapest section in the house on the end we shoot twice I would have thought they had dozens of singles they would love to sell to potential ST holders very surprising. Ive never had a problem getting one off TM for a game I want to go to where I sold my pair (although it always cost more than the pair).

Ive come across so many people on game days this year saying they are going to the Bruins and will buy a single off a scalper during hte first. New way of going to games now were this popular, I dont think reselling singles will be that hard going forward.

And a specific thanks to you Looch and other posters for sharing thier experiences I read what you wrote that new non-STs would get a chance to buy tickets that following Monday and was ready to pounce in adding my pair next day when I got an email from the B's saying ST holders could add tickets. Got the exact seats in the price section I wanted in the Loge, very happy I didn't hesitate to add a pair downstairs I love my balconies but I am getting sick of the (lack of) restrooms and amenities up there.

I got Loge 4 row 20. IDK if they had higher rows in section 4 when I called I didnt specifically want to be in old Premium on the end but rather the first few rows where it went down to 79 from 89. I wanted to be high enough that the glass didnt obstruct me and have as little of the net in my viewpoint as possible. I think that row is about even with the second of the green premiums in the middle since there are 18 rows in the Loge on the sidelines. There was a Loge 5 row 17 when I called but took this instead. I think they had lower rows too but I wanted to save 20 bucks a game not sure what was availible in higher rows when I called.

For whatever reason the new Loge seats they opened up before the renewal deadline were all on the side we shoot twice. I was happy to pay the extra few bucks to be on that end for sure. THey still had some pairs of balconies availible at this time for 39 bucks either 319 or 321 row 12. When I saw Looch and other ST holders posts about more seats being made availible I acted quickly and called the next day.

My balconies are in 308 row 7. I got them at select a seat. I got hooked up for playoffs only in 306 row 4 last year because I was going from a triple to a double and thus waited to renew until after everyone else had but I would have been 306 row 9this year without attending SaS. Obviously I wanted to keep those. Sitting in the row 4 during playoffs all my neighbors were talking about how they wanted to move into that pair as they knew the people didnt renew.

Was dissapointed when I was actually at the SaS event that more wasnt availible but the job got done, row 7 is a huge difference from 8 in the balcony there are about 4 less seats on each end of the row and not a huge railing in front of those 4 closest to the isle. Rows 8+9 suck I had a triple in row 8 312 last year. I knew I couldnt sit ON the isle or within a couple seats of it in row 8 or 9 b/c of the railings obstructing the view of the net and ice both the one in front of you and the metal parts on the top of the walkway.

Everytime I left my seats in row 8 last year I had to climb over the rail because the people people in the aisle seats didnt seem to like standing up/moving out of the way despite specifically chosing seats in which you have to do that a lot. The kid next to me on the isle in row 7 this year has almost had to fight some people for trying to climb over him or his girlfriend and not going around.

The 310 row 7 aisle seats we had for 10 of our 21 games this year have an AWESOME view but we've had to deal with this and it's incredibly annoying and rude especially if they don't even have the respect to wait for a whistle.

So do your Loge 4 / Row 20 start in the upcoming season or do you have playoff rights for the upcoming rounds ? Just asking , I'd had full season seats in Loge 4 / Row 7 on the aisle and Section - 316 / Row 5 exactly on the redline . I have had these two sets for 4 years now and love both veiws, I guess you can say best of both worlds up top and down below. I have been thinking about changing my 2 loge seats in loge 4 for 4 balcony seats , but I know the seats will be behind the net on the bruins shoot 1 end I have to say I never have a problem getting rid of either set of seats , they are both excellent money makers and very much enjoy going to at least 12 - 15 games a year.

Playoffs this year too. Ive always got playoffs when I have bought seasons but this will be the first year where they are the same location as my regular season seats. The first year I was on the goal line on the side we shoot once row 11 in a corner. Actually a cheaper section than where I would move to the following year so if I had bought those and not 312 I doubt I ever move and I probably just have a threesome right now.

Im not too worried about getting rid of hte loges. Just on box office and fees your paying 100 bucks less for the pair, not hard to make that in profit. Id rather have the money committed to that rather than bad balcony seats I dont want to use myself. WHen I called though the option of taking two pairs in the balcony instead was there, I was very tempted but I didnt want to make that big a commitment for seats that arent absolutely mint for the price level and ones I want to sit in.

Haha ugh. The antics of some people in the balcony could seriously be entertainment enough. Every game theres an exchange when someone stands up when we have a chance, another 5 people stand up because they can't see now, and 5 minutes later people are telling each other to come down and "say that to my face". I always see the entire rows behind and in front of my seats listed on Stubhub so its different people every game.

How were your seats in Nassau Coliseum Tuukk??? Were you on the ends? Whats the view like compared to 310 row 7 if you were in similar seats? Did it seem like you were closer without being in an upper bowl?

I saw you pick those seats at select a seat. I didnt notice those seats available before you sat in them and was pissed that a I didnt check them out first. I had been there for a half an hour before that and didnt see much. How is your view? I though there might be too many leaning heads in the way.

Yeah I thought they were row 8 at first look and walked around the arena to talk to complain to my rep about my dissapointment at the event and he told me there was one row 7 left which was those. They are good but being directly behind the net just one person needs to stand or lean noticably and you won't see any of the goal. You kind of need to perk up on your seat to see the ice behind the net. And if you stand because other people are standing expect to hear it from everyone behind you. Ive remained in my seat when theres been a loose puck this year and missed goals but for playoffs I will be the first one up the minute someone impedes my view. Hopefully I wont have to fight someone in a row above me

As I mentioned in the before posts I am glad they aren't the aisle seats b/c people climb over you on a nightly basis to get to rows 8 and 9.

Would love seats in section 4 but couldn't swing the extra $108 per game! I'm in 304 so I'm right above that section, love the view from the goal line.

Yeah our other 11 games in 305 row 11 on that aisle, the 4 seats in front of us and next to us are stubhub, different people every time.

We were in 301 row G, upper level, basically the equivalent of 314 row 7 at the Garden. Obviously the arena was very low end, but man throughout the entire place were the sightlines GREAT. In the 2nd level you didnt have to lean forward to see play on the near boards to your seats, the seats in the upper deck themselves were GREAT, nice high backs with cushions, it was tremendous. I felt that I was a bit closer, but at the same time, I enjoy the steepness and height of the Garden balcony more as you feel more "on top" of things.

Heres a few pictures from our seats

What row are you located in 304 ? Maybe next year we could trade face value for value and you could sit in my Loge 4 on the aisle.

Slim to none. Might get lucky but I would not base a renewal decision on being able to downgrade at Select-A-Seat

Can someone give me a logical reason why you cant use "pay as we play" if you arent renewing?? This year has nothing to do with next year.

They have such high demand that they can basically do whatever they want. They also tell you that the first year ticket price includes a premium and they will go down in the second year, that didn't work out well for most people.

pathetic.
I'll most likely renew, but a suggestion from me.
If you put tickets on the ticket exchange, they should stay on there up for sale until gametime.

Most tickets are sold about 1/2 hour to an hour before the game.

They need time to process sales and print new tickets for the ticket buyer so that is probably why Ticket Exchange sales needs a cut off time.

Pay as we play is a STH benefit, just like the large discount they give full season ticket holders is a benefit. If you're no longer going to be a STH (aren't renewing) they go out of their way to make sure they aren't extending any STH benefits to you that renewing STH's get. Makes sense to me. They use most means available to them to encourage you to renew.

Although we as STH's look at payment plans and pay as we play playoff plans as a right to all STH's, in actuality they are more of added benefit. Just ask red sox STH who have to pay up front all at once for their regular season ticket the year before...and they can't even use a credit card! Same goes for their playoff tickets.

youre right. Im just upset that for a team that sells out every game, Ive only sold 1 game (and that was sold in 1 second by a scalper cumputer program) out of the 12 I put on the ticket exchange.

They have to do a better job of allowing us STH's who live outside of Boston to sell the games we cant go to. There is no excuse that they cant keep them on the exchange until at least an hour before gametime. Or allow us to call our seats in and then credit our account when they sell.
