You know, we could trade Miller to Detroit right now under the condition that he must dress for the Red Wings and play the entire game. He will be shocked, pissed, and we will know his weaknesses. Guaranteed 2 points!
Ummmmm..we move ENNIS (a natural center) to the middle for the rest of the season, and add/sign a big name center like Richards etc in the offseason!
PS it was a prediction...not a WANT/DESIRE.
There is no reason to put Ennis at center when we don't have to. He's a rookie, it's much easier for him to stay on the wing and be more creative without as much defensive responsibility. You replace Connolly with a center immediately if you do it, you don't get a winger and then get a center down the line. Not to be a dick, but your "prediction" really doesn't make any sense. But this isn't the place for this discussion, make a thread on it if you like. This is the game day thread.
The Sabres need to get a quick start to get on MacDonald and to keep the crowd into it. I think we get a big win, 3-2 in OT
Maybe because he's been extremely solid the last 2 games and he's our best goalie? It'd be a huge bonus to have the momentum of a 3 game winning streak to take into our upcoming 7 game road swing.
Lindy logic. He's played five a in row. Play him tonight and then all seven on the road. Suddenly Ryan's played 13 in a row. Then you ask yourself, why does he suck all of the sudden?

I would play him the next 4, which none of are back to backs, sit him @ Minnesota next sunday, Miller plays 3, sit him for the first home game back, the sunday after against Ottawa. The games are against a western conference team in the middle of the road trip and a bottom feeder, perfect times to sit Miller.

Honestly, I think that's the best thing to go with tonight. I don't see the Sabres having a chance against Detroit, so Carolina losing to Montreal to keep us at 3 points back is probably as good as it'll get.
