Good job by Ottawa, let Lehner play on the farm already.

Wow, if Atlanta thought Bergfors was a useless floater they're going to LOVE Schremp

Rick Dudley is imploding.

Surprised nobody picked up Conklin, he's a pretty good backup. And I'm a little bit pissed off that the Oilers didn't claim DJ King. Has his game deteriorated that much, or are the Oiler scouts not paying attention?

So I'm guessing you're pleased with the waiver wire today.

Ottawa claims MacElhinney. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins: future Ottawa Senator. Gorgeous tank move.

Is the McElhinny claim so that Lehner can get some games in Bingo?

Ottawa will not be drafting RNH.

With that said I'm pretty disappointed that we didn't pick up some forward depth. Sigh.

Ottawa should get their first round pick taken away... Claiming McElhinny over Conklin is a clear cut case of throwing games

Yep. The Baby Sens are a playoff team unlike their parent club.

But if Ottawa wanted to throw games, why not just play Leclaire? That's worked so far.

More like we have absolutely no goaltender depth and McElhenney is more likely to be an option for the future than Conklin.

I think Craig Anderson stops the tank job in Ottawa thus far...

That's why they picked up McBackup, they need some loses

I dunno about that. He's been good, but we've basically gone up a stretch of bad teams the last couple games. Philadelphia wasn't even trying the other night. Competition is going to ramp up so I think we'll continue to keep pace.

Ottawa are taking Leclaire to the vet to have him put down. It's not right to let him suffer any longer.
