Nah, I think its more to do with a backlash as their were relentless postings that the Schremp lovers did saying how wonderful Robby was & MacT was the anti christ causing untold & unjustified damage to the greatness known as "Robby".

Just almost? You've got to come with a better shot than that.

Quick question, how do you remember all of this stuff given your join date? I guess you like holding things bottled up deep inside and wait for the opportune time to pounce? Enjoy the ulcers my friend.

Lurked for along time & its not exactly a state secret as to how the lines were drawn on this issue, & you in particular.
Nontheless, obviously my take on it is pretty accurate.

The most amusing part is that 6 of those pages are about MacT, who from what I can tell wasn't waived on Friday.

The current edition of Penner isn't much different than the Penner prior to last year. He was always inconsistent but productive as a whole. And FTR I don't think that beerfish needs your "help".

None of it is amusing IMO, just one giant train wreck followed by a plain crashing on the debris.

As the pilot I think you need to land this damaged plane.

Kyle Brodziak says hi . And MAB is top five in PP goals among all NHL defencemen since the lockout - course our league history worst PP couldn't use any of that .

MacT liked a certain kind of player and he was very good at identifying that type of player . His eye for talent is selective at best .

I was a huge Schremp fan too. You weren't the only one. It is a shame people bash you, you are bang on about a lot of things. Just not the Schremp thing.

I still think he will be a good player, people around here act like he`s on a contract thats killing a team. I mean if you don`t like him fine, but I still wish him the best where ever he goes.

Worth a gamble
Thats what I was thinking

Wowzers!!!!!! Shrempster sure gets allot of attention on these here boards. Is everyone so hung up on Shremp that they cannot see the real picture here? We have a young team that practically everyone is talking about. We have a group of youth who will be NHL stars. We have a team building a future with future champions written all over it. We have the pieces that the Oiler fans have not witnessed on this club for years. Hall, Eberle, Paarvii, Whitney, and a bunch in the system that will be bona fide NHL players. Yet all that is happening is the reminiscing of past possibilities that could have been, yet were waived by the 2 worst NHL clubs to date. I just don't get it. Who gives a flying flip about Shremp and his misadventures. He's shown his quality, and his quality is not worthy of a second thought. The guy has no passion or work ethic to display in the NHL, so maybe he can display it somewhere else. Like in a men's beer league or something.

Does anyone know what exactly happened to Pascal Leclaire?

The guy showed so much promise in CBJ and even early on in Ottawa.

Injury prone

Also did Schremp get waived after the game? It was probably after the GWG by Semin lol since he gave the puck up to Semin and floated back defensively

Agreed.

Unbelievable post.

Anybody that says they can't see the difference in Penner from the one year to the other is either blind or telling stories.
