Imagine Gomez overhearing Gauthier talking trade about him through out the day.
I can see it now, PG telling the pilot to make a pit spot to Phoenix.

Well, if true, that ****ing sucks. My Leafs fan buddy sitting next to me right now will laugh in my face.

Awesome, I can imagine a lot of hockey fans have done the same thing across the country. I have a few friends that are working today, who are huge hockey fans. I highly doubt they are going to get any work done today.

There's no way Gauthier will work the phones from the plane. He's not going to be talking about trading guys who might be 5 seats down from him.

I managed to get today off because I worked on Saturday.

I'm surprised...2nd to last day of RRSP season and I'm not working. I'm scared they will call me to come in.

Come on Dave, you've been in first class before. He'll be sectioned off from the rest of the team. He can also communicate through e-mails or text.

I called in sick to school, but I need to go to Rugby practice at 2:30, because my Rugby coach specifically told us (me and my friend), "I don't care if you skip to watch Tradecentre, but if you're not at practice, you're in for some hurt at next practice"

They take a charter don't they? I'm pretty sure they all fly first class.

24/7 made it seem like teams all fly together. Who knows though. I still find it strange that he's flying with the team. Why does he even need to be in Atlanta anyways?

Even if he's not going to do any trade, why is he going to Atlanta anyway ? There is no valid reason.

Luckily a draino-like product made a hole in my drain so I'm at home waiting for a plumber. LOL

Well I did offer to come in before I left on Friday, and was told "nah I think we'll be ok"...And on Saturday before I left, I said "See you Tuesday! Bye!" and nobody said anything...So that's it, I'm off today.

The only thing is if they ask me to come in, I am almost considering it if it means I have Wednesday morning off. I'm going to see Girl Talk tomorrow and plan to get seriously messed up.

Yes, but he'll be sectioned off away from the team. He can also get up and move to a private area of the plane.

It will be awkward, since he won't be at his desk. But this flight won't be the reason why we don't make any major trades. Like I mentioned, we don't know where Gainey is. He could be in charge of negotiating the deals, and running them by Gauthier for final approval.

I'm so glad my CEGEP got closed due to an upcoming snowstorm. I miss 3 exams.

I'm ready! I'm looking forward for today.

#canadiens Pierre Gauthier ne sera pas dans l'avion en direction d'Atlanta. Il demeure au téléphone et tente encore d'améliorer son équipe

Well hopefully they don't call, but if they do. Getting Wednesday morning off to "recover" from GT, might be a good thing.

Watching SportsNet here for a second. Weiss ONLY to Toronto sounds a lot like speculation on Kyper's part

They have written "BREAKING NEWS: [FLA] Weiss saying Toronto is only destination he will consider"

But then they're saying "I do believe..." "Safe to assume.." etc etc

Haha, that sounds like me. The only addition is I was too lazy to make breakfast, so I'm eating cold pizza with my coffee.
