Kyle Beach info - might be a good trade piece?

What's with Kyle Beach? The guy was supposed to be the next Todd Bertuzzi but he was traded 3 times in junior, he never got a sniff from the Canadian WJC team which is extremely rare for a top pick like him and is a team worse -18 in your AHL team.

Does he have attitude problems, is it his skating or is he not fully committed? He seems to have been passed on your deoth chart by other prospects.

Any info passed along would be great. Maybe it's time Beach could use a change of scenery and could be a nice peice to dangle for a big addition on trade day.

He's never played a game in Chicago, so how could anyone say he needs a change of scenery. He plays for a crappy AHL team and that would bring the worst out of any player. To answer your question though, the Hawks skating instructor said he has a ways to go. I'd consider dealing him for someone like Ellerby (top end talent in the NHL on an ELC).

He'd be a key piece going the other way unless we are bringing in a top six/top four young player.

Bowman says he's looking for a PK dman, Phillips in Ottawa is the best on the market right now and is the cheapest player you'll get wiht thta type of experience.

Chi: Phillips, 2nd rounder
Ott: Beach

Phillips wouldn't fit under the cap, but I would love to have him on this team. As far as your offer goes, Hawks would be more interested in Beach, 2nd for Phillips, 1st (Sens this year, not Preds).

I don't think we should trade him at all, but if we did trade him for Phillips, we need a lottery pick coming with him.

yep.... only trade I consider involving Beach is getting a better prospect/young Player back.

Beach is what this team needs going into the future. All we need to find out in which role. I think he will become a good Top9 LW for us

That's the best thing about Beach (and Morin to a lesser extent). You can play him on any line so you know he's going to pan out and help the team, it's just a question of how much and what line he plays on.

Wow, I thought he was a 3rd line AHL player. Didn't think that was worth a lottery pick in a great draft year.

Anywyas the sellers market is small and the prices are high. Chicaog is desperate to make it and thye will overpay at the deadline if they want an impact player like all the other teams have.

This is ridiculous. I'm tired of hearing this "trade Beach" talk, even if it comes from uninformed Ottawa fans.

Beach leads Icehog rookie scoring (terrible as that team is), and has started to turn his game around.

He's not going anywhere this year, definitely not for a rental.

Pretty sure this year's draft isn't considered 'great' by many. I do believe next year's is supposed to be quite top heavy.

As for Beach I don't want to see him traded. He has a lot to potentially offer the Hawks, and if it takes another year or 3 before we see it, then so be it. We don't need to trade him when his value is on the low end.

LOL!

Chicago is not desperate and they will not overpay.

If they want an impact player? We have enough of those.

Kane
Toews
Hossa
Sharp
Keith
Seabrook
Campbell

What we need is capable 4th line grunts who crash, bang, and don't get scored on. Those usually don't require a high price.

Still, I don't want Stan dealing Beach at this time. Could be Philly and possibly Tallon are trying to steal him away.

I wouldn't be opposed to dealing Beach considering how many forward prospects we have with fantastic upside.

Morin, Kruger, Pirri, Hayes brothers, Rensfeldt, Gilbert and Smith all have top 6 potential. I'll even throw in Chris DiDomenico into the mix.

Dido will be lucky to make the league as a 4th liner; I think he's in the ECHL. The drive is there though, so I won't put it past him.

I don't see the hawks trading him, unless it's for a BIG piece.

LOL

Guy is not and will never be NHL material, on any line. He'll count himself lucky to work himself back into the AHL.

Why would he need to "work" his way back to the AHL? Brophey won't be resigned in the offseason and DiDomenico will take his rightful place on Rockford.

The kid may not have much more to offer offensively at the NHL level but he's a solid 2-way player and I could see him being a bottom 6 NHLer within the next 2-3 years.

He certainly not top 6 material, but he never projected to be.

If there was an offer for Beach I think the Hawks would jump all over it.

Is there anyone in the system that won't make the NHL? LOL! Besides of course, some of the guys already in the NHL-(Stalberg...)
