Unreal blaming Hank on that one...clearly none of you have ever tried to stop a one timer on a cross ice tape-to-tape pass.

Why make the trapezoid rule if your not going to enforce it?

50 assists for St Louis is pretty impressive, gotta say that...

Roloson touched the puck twice outside of the trapezoid within a minute, no calls, 20 seconds later, they score, and now thank you Sam and Joe for clatifying what I saw, knew I wasn't going nuts

at least 3 times in the past 3.5 periods that girardi has been near the goalline in the offensive zone and got caught.

It's Girardi's fault for causing that rush against, but McD could've done a better job actually covering one of the two closer to Lundqvist (one of which was St. Louis) instead of staying halfway between all 3 lightning players not sure who to go after, and waving his stick in the direction of the puck-carrier before he dished it to St. Louis.

Yeah it was Girardi's fault for the odd man rush. But it is the goalies job to bail out your teammates sometimes, and that was not a great scoring area. He should have had it.

This is the type of team that I think really grinding it out works on. Boyle seems to be the only one that realizes that. They're fast but they tend to cough up the puck when pressured hard.

Your irrational Hank hatred is actually really annoying...since when is a shot from the circles a bad angle shot after a beautiful pass?

It was a great shot from a beautiful pass from a few inches outside the circle.

I'm just saying that goal was on 3 people. Girardi, Lundqvist, and McDonaugh. Lundqvist being one of the top goalies in the league should have saved the first shot of the game that was not at a great angle.

I hear what you are saying, but as a goalie if I make it across, like Hank did and it goes through me then I feel like I should have gotten it. If it beats him cleanly before he gets over then you are right, but to go through his pads, I dunno, I am sure he feels like he should have that back too.

There is a difference between a one timer that beats you cleanly vs. one that goes through you.

Need to change strategy. Dump and chase doesn't work against TB because of their speed getting to the defensive corners.

The shot was savable, thats all I'm saying. If anyone doesn't agree, watch the replay.
