Milan Michalek

Michalek was wearing a walking boot and on crutches in the arena level after the game tonight. Did NOT look good at all.

Yeah with his history of Knees that is good news, but either way still bad news for Binghamton. Who comes up if Neil or Winchester aren't ready by tuesday, O'Brien ?

Probably just a fracture. Seems like he tried to stick with it for a while, but they probably checked it out during the intermission.

Oh well, another bonus for the tank.

I cannot believe my eyes on what's going on w/ this organization this season, unreal on what a year it's been..

We have 7 ECHL fill-ins for the players up in Ottawa, we cannot afford anymore call-ups..we even got 2 players from different teams on PTO's..what is up w/ all the injuries in Ottawa??

I believe Winchester and possibly Neil will be back for Tuesday. I imagine they will send down Locke and maybe Wick for Sunday's game. I can't see Murray trading any more forwards, probably a defenceman or 2.

As far as the injuries go, the team has been healthy for the most part all year. The injuries are just bunching up now.

i think most players would have been injured from a Spezza slap shot.

that looked painful

It might explain why they shortened the bench in the 3rd. Locke was one of the guys who I think didn't get a shift.

Michalek looked like garbage and maybe this is why. Spezza will get blamed for that Flyers breakaway right at the start but that was 100% on Michalek who was right there to get that puck but stopped skating and watched his man go the other way with it.

It won't happen but I kind of hope some team offers the Sens a pick and prospect for him in the offseason. He's had way too many injuries and he's basically like Fisher: very athletic, but his weak hockey sense keeps him from being a star.

What a surprise. Every time he starts playing well he ends up injured.

The guy got hit by a puck. It could have happened to anyone standing in front of the net.

Maybe Greening takes his place as Winchester comes back in. Rather him than Foligno.

Greening -Spezza -Butler
Wick -Winchester - Condra
Foligno - Locke - Svatos
Shannon - Smith -Lessard

Guess we can not move Michalek to LA now at the deadline for a prospect & 1st...

Hilarious!

Has to be the weakest forward line-up iced on paper for any team since the lockout.

I'd do:

Wick - Spezza - Butler (to see what Wick can do) TWO AHLers
Foligno - Greening - Condra (why not?) TWO AHLers
Shannon - Smith - Svatos (Third scoring line! ) Midget - Rookie - Waiver Fodder
O'Brien - Winchester - Lessard (Premiere Checking line ) AHLer - 4th liner - AHL goon

Locke sent down O'Brien back up!

If we can win with this line-up consistently we need to resign Clouston and Anderson for next season!!!!!!

and if the LA/Spezza thing ever happens...

Locke down again - wonder who gets called for Tuesday. I expect Greening back; he's been quite good. KDaug could come for Wick, but I'd like to see more of Wick.

Take Spezza off that team and that is an AHL line up.

Oh dear, God. Binghamton is going to hate us. At this point, we need to pick up whoever we can just to avoid completely depleting their roster.
