Seriously, whats up with that!!?

But as long as we keep getting the 2 points on a regular basis, we should be fine.

But hey, it just might take 100 points to get in

With so many teams in the competition and all within a couple points of each others, the Flames DO NOT need help from the out of town scoreboard. They pretty much control their own destiny at this point. All they have to do is win the majority of the time, just more than the other teams (note: not all the time)

Agree with DFF... Flames just keep winning the majority of their games with the occasional loser point and they are fine. They do NOT have to run the table.

I've been saying that since before we turned it around... gain a point or 2 a week on the teams in front of us and we'll be in a playoff spot

I think this game was probably one of the most B. Sutter style of games that the Flames have played since Sutter has became the coach here. The Flames pretty much played an entire 60 minutes mistake free hockey game. They stuck to the game plan and capalized on the one oppertunity that the Blues gave them. I think this is pretty much what we are going to see from here on in. The Flames have finally learned to play the way Sutter wants them to, the players have bought in to his system and it is working. If the Flames can stick to the game plan, they will make the playoffs this year.

The worst part is, earlier this season the player seemed to have bought into his coaching methods and play style, and there were occasional glimpses that shone through, that we could play brilliantly as a team.

Then it crumbled away for 35 games and well, here we are. I feel like we really could have been a #1-4 seed had we kept our play up.... but better late than never. If anything, our team's hungrier for winning after losing and learning like that.
