The color aspect is something I'd like to change so seeing others bring it up certainly helps my decision making easier. Thanks.

Do you think the right hand column feels clunky? It does to me. Not sure how to tweak it, but its something on my list.
Right-hand column does feel funky. Maybe more of a "feed" up top so it changes from week to week?

I understand the template thing, but maybe a background image that fills up all that white space? Kinda like Strickland's got over at truehockey.com. Its not much, buts its a lot nicer than plain white.

Anyway, hope this helps. Just remember, its the content that will cause you to sink or swim. But it helps to have cool looking trunks on.

A new post is up from new staffer David Trigg. He was able to get a phone interview late last week with Peoria Rivermen General Manager Kevin McDonald.

Thanks for reading.

@bluemandan:

Thanks for the feedback. What would you think about the background in the banner at the top all across? The skated on ice look? Maybe I need to stop buying my trunks at Target?

So myself and the guys at LetsGoBlues.com are putting together a podcast. The St. Louis Blues Radio Podcast will debut on Tuesday. We're recording the 1 hour show Monday night.

Check out the announcement on BNZ.

Friend of the blog Alessandro Seren Rosso was good enough to do another KHL Q&A with me. He had some interesting words regarding Tarasenko and Andronov.

Thanks for reading.

BluesFan45, thanks you for any and all Riverman info, particularly about players you feel have an NHL future. I'm particularly interested in your take on the goal tenders, McRae, Ponich and Cundari.

I can certainly throw something together on those guys. I could end up way off here, but I think Fairchild will have a chance in the next 3 years or so to crack the Blues roster as a cheap offensive threat as a #6 or #7.

One more for today.

I'm a big fantasy hockey player. I run two leagues and participate in an insanely deep keeper. One thing we're really trying to hit more on at BNZ is fantasy coverage. Today I've got a ton of thoughts on the Blues/Preds game as well as some FYI's on teams/players around the league.

October 8th Fantasy FYIs: Blues vs Predators + NHL Tidbits

Check out http://bluenotezone.com/beta. This is going to be BNZ v2.0 pretty soon. Some of the categories are just placeholders. Always looking for feedback.

Just got up my thoughts on the home opener. More so the misfires off the ice and with the pregame events than the 4-2 loss.

Lots of Links for today and tonight's game.

My post on how the Blues have been and remain to be defined by offense.

Blues v Stars Game Day Preview by Tony.

A Q&A Scouting Report on the Stars with Brad Gardner of Defending Big D.

Tyler's Throwdown Lowdown preview of potential pugilist action.

Kelly's first in a month long series about Hockey Fights Cancer.

Kelly also has her Q's Cuties up. For those who have asked, yes some have, this is NOT a puck bunny series. It's a play on that type of "hockey fan" but it's not a bout drooling over Oshie and the "hawtest" opposing player.

Will be back with more links later, but wanted to get this one up ASAP. I reviewed all eight of Halak's goals against so far this season. Broke them down and analyzed them. It changed my opinion on how many have really been his fault, but convinced me more about size issues as well as the differences between Montreal and St. Louis.

Breaking Down Jaroslav Halak Through Three Games. Changing Perspectives?

Thanks for reading.
