That is a lot of injuries. Oh well, definitely going to get a good look at the future over the next 20 games or so.

I hope they both come back quickly so that Greening and Locke can go back down to Binghamton. Maybe another player will come back so we can send down O'brein as well.

Pretty much the line up for next season. Not sure about the lines, but that will most likely be the group of players unless someone from FA is signed. I would like a 2nd line center signed.

If we still had Elliot in net i would be willing to bet we lose every single one of our remaining games.

With Anderson, we will win 5.

So you don't think that with the 20 mil. we have, we won't go after a top player??

I can see them going after a couple young players but no i doubt they will go after a top player.

Murray's pretty much said we're going the Kings route of things (or at least implied) through both words and actions.

I don't see necessarily Cowen playing the NHL next year for sure though. Occasional callups yes, but AHL probably better to season him to start.

Also Phillips-Lee pairing should stick together, and if we're lucky... Karlsson-Rundblad can work out (putting Karlsson with Gonchar is a bad idea). Or perhaps Lee can settle EK down.

I see Carkner most likely as being the 7th D though.

Murray said today in the presser he will be pursuing a top 6 guy either via UFA or trade

its better for Condra, Greening, O'brien and others to have to fight for their roster spot rather than be given one. Sign a few more players so that these players have to prove themselves to get into the line-up. And if they are not consistent then send them back to Bingo.

Just curious, anyone know if we are going to be under or close to under the cap floor next year? Assuming we dont pick up or sign any players over 1 or 2 mil?

I don't think they will be right at the floor they likely will be above it how much that well time will tell.

LOL @ him being our 3rd line center next season.

Hopefully we sign some mysterious FA to center that line next year for the short term.
