Hammond looks hilarious in that interview, and Dean looks tired. Take a nap Dean, you've earned it! Thanks for getting the kids some help! GO KINGS!

To all the people who argued with me that its important to send a message by getting the Kings help, please read and reread this quote as many times as it takes to burn it into your heads that I was right

I like this one too:

Quote:
Question: Suffice to say he will play with Kopitar?

LOMBARDI: “You know, ultimately that’s up to Murph [Terry Murray], but that certainly would be a logical place to start. But in the end, that is Murph’s call.”
So basically Lomardi is saying he won't be shocked when the starting lineup includes the line Penner-Lewis-Westgarth.

I noticed Hammond during the Heidi Androl interview on Thursday. He does not look well at all and seems to have lost a lot of weight. He looks like he is making quite an effort to just stand up to during the DL interview. Something must be wrong.

Lombardi looks exhausted.

Hammond was holding a tape recorder. Obviously he's fidgety. lol

Favorite quote:

100% agreed Deano.

I think they'll play with a bit more spring in their step tonight as a result.

Hammond has always been skinny and fidgety. I think he get nervous on camera which makes him come off as extremely creepy.

Yup. This was our Campbell, our Hossa, our Pronger. Not because Penned is as good as those guys, but because of the organizational message this sends. One that is very different than Halpern or Modin. Different than giving up a roster player for Williams. This is Dean saying to the team they are ready for the next step. NOW it is on the team to respond properly.

I have no actual comment on the interview but...

Hammond looks super skinny.

Dean wearing the Team USA fleece.

Penner's reaction to the deal is a tiny bit troubling to me but I am certain that it doesn't mean anything.

If I were a player no matter how many young talented forwards the team I was being dealt from had, if they were where the Oilers are today I would have been the happiest guy in the world today.

He is coming to a contender and makes us a better team, solid.

Isn't Hammond eating something? Seeds or gum, something?

He also tips his head back and rolls his eye's once.

My caption would be "God I hate this hockey crap, when does the NC2A tourney start?"

A second, I want a hamburger no a cheeseburger etc.... (Spaulding from CaddyShack)

Remember those first oh... I don't know... 20 times Hammond was on the air during road games looking like death warmed over?

He's fine.
