Lines for tonight:
Vanek-Hecht-Stafford
Ennis-Connolly-Boyes
Niedermayer-Gaustad-Pominville
Kaleta-McCormick-Grier

Did I mention Lindy can't make lines?

If that were Gerbe, I would be fine with it.

Same, I actually don't mind those lines except for Nieds in over Gerbe and I don't really like Ennis with Connolly. Maybe swap Ennis and Vanek.

Nieds-Gaustad-Pominville should be interesting..in a bad way.

Maybe Boyes makes a debut similar to Steve Heinze back in 2001.

Ruffs favoritism for veteran players, even if they are washed up and worthless.

Lindy wanted 3 lines of offense, so he benched Gerbe and put Niedermayer in the top 9

:c ry:

How many goals will be scored against with this line on the ice???
Ennis-Connolly-Boyes

not too worried about the line combos for now, we all know the Lindy Shuffle will be on at about the 10min mark.

Quite likely. Still, putting Special Nieds with Pommer-Gaustad at ES means he's going to see quite a bit of ES ice time until the lines are changed. And they should be changed. Can we just go back to the Pommer-Vanek and Ennis-Stafford duos? Heck, add a third duo of Connolly-Boyes. That's how Philly does their lines: they find pairs of two who work well together and they switch around the third piece on the line. I'd like to see:

Vanek-Goose-Pominville
Ennis-Hecht-Stafford
Gerbe-Connolly-Boyes
And then some combo of McCormick/Kaleta/Grier/Nieds on the 4th.

It is a ****ing crime that Gerbe sits out tonight. Guaranteed Sabres loss.

Hey, when you can play a lazy player with 0 goals on the season in favor of a hard-working player with 7 goals who can help your 2nd unit PP, you take that opportunity every time.

I believe tie-breaker is non-shootout wins, so OT wins count.

Nieds being in the line-up is the perfect example of lazy older players getting a chance over hard work

Whatever happened to hard work over vetran? if Nieds cant score then bench the loser!

that line is just one big cliche.... over the long term, that line hurts you.

That line better not bother dumping the puck in.

Disagree. It took Ruff forever to bench Rivet and play Weber. Lalime has had plenty of chances. He shouldn't have even been signed.

Gerbe should absolutely not be sitting over Special N.

Lindy Ruff what on earth gave you that idea.
