My best revenge is us beating the Hawks in the first round
Speaking of the Hawks and Wings, game is tied 2-2, 6 minutes left in the 3rd.

Once again the worst possible scenario, another 3 point game.

Well, tie game now, although with the way the Ducks have been pushing they'll probably take the lead soon.
3-3 after 2 periods.

Methinks it is obvious we aren't gonna' get any help from anywhere in this deal; so come Tues, the only thing to root for is Preds win, and if by chance anything else good comes along - say the Bruins over the Hawks in Regulation - we can just smile a little at a nice helpful coincidence.

Tuesday's schedule
Vancouver @ Nashville
Florida @ Columbus
Chicago @ Boston
Minnesota @ St. Louis
LA @ Edmonton
Dallas @ Phoenix
Go Preds. That's all that matters.
Then we'll cheer for Boston, Edmonton, Dallas(?).

Yeah we should be going for Dallas really regardless of whether or not we win tonight. Those 2 points on them Saturday were huge.

I am def not rooting for Dallas. If they win tonight, they can pass us by winning their games in hand. Go Phoenix
Really though, just no 3 point game

And sure enough it ends in an shootout (2-1 Phoenix)
once again we are getting little to no help at all (although Chicago's loss did help a wee bit) and the reason why we'll miss the postseason IMO

Anaheim plays Calgary tonight. Unless the Flames play out of their skin, I suspect the Ducks will get this one.

No, the reason we might miss the postseason is playing inconsistently, which led to losing to teams we should've beat and imploding during the third period in games we should have won or at least gotten a point out of. We shouldn't have to be hoping for help from the other teams in the conference.

I can't imagine Trotz will rest Rinne until we've clinched a playoff spot. And even then it's doubtful.

Jeeeeeezzz....those "cupcake" blues are sure takin it to the ****s. 8 -3 after 2.
As I said in another thread, if anyone thinks the games against the blues and the bugs will be automatic wins, you need to re-think.

St. Louis embarrasses Detroit 10-3. It makes me giggle.

detroit losing opens that small crack at the division. if we can get a win tomorrow and win in regulation saturday, we will trail by 2 points. they have two games with chicago, one at carolina, and minnesota. we have stl, bugs, and atl. i can see them going 1-3
