Broken sticks, posts, laces getting stuck together(can anyone explain that?), and Lilja's tenacious defense.

Welcome to Detroit, where instead of having the motto of "Putting it on net is never a bad play" we have the motto: "Why shoot when you can make one more pass?"

These penalties, both ways, are sapping all fluidity from this game.

But they can't even make a pass tonight. This game is ugly in every way, especially the refs. Apparently the refs don't want any flow to the game at all.

dumb pass by datsyuk on PP. anaheim player dropped to block it, but datsyuk passed right into him instead of shooting.

looked like hudler should have scored by the net, but i don't think he even shot.

Does anyone else notice Datsyuk being a little off today? He looks....hesitant, for the lack of a better word.

nice goal

datsyuk would be better if he would throw pucks into the crease more often, instead of relying on non-ugly plays.

if he can add that to his play, it would be amazing. He can learn that from Z

Ruslan "The Sniper" Salei.

He gets kudos for actually shooting the damned puck though.
