If Grimaldi is off the board, Id take Scott Mayfield. Im pretty sure thats probably the consensus here as well.

Joe Morrow gets my vote, but I'd be fine with Mayfield.

It's crazy that Vladislav Namestinkov's draft is coming up. I remember watching his dad play for Milwaukee.

Makes me feel old.

Either one of these guys would be a great 1st round pick for us.

I picked Musil. Not as safe a pick as Morrow or Mayfield but the reward has a chance of being bigger.

Picked Morrow, but could easily be Mayfield. Not impressed with Musil, his foot speed is a concern (our defense is already slow as it is) and his offensive ceiling seems rather limited. He'd be great value in the mid second round, but taking him in the first would still be a reach.

Bottom line, just any guy whose last name starts with 'M' is fine.

I don't think Morrow drops to us, he would be the ideal pick though. High ceiling, excellent skating ability, a lot of latent talent. He's a great future PMD, and we could bring him along slowly. I wouldn't be disappointed at all with Mayfield either, he has the size advantage of the two.

I would not pick Musil, his skating isn't on par with Morrow's or Mayfield's skating. If he is what is left on the board I go another direction.

Holy crap. I've never had to look beyond 6 or 7 guys to decide who the Thrashers would draft! It'll take me until June 24 just to reivew the bios of the next 25 guys!!!!

Is it odd that I have Mock Draft letdown that we didn't collectively pick Morrow?

I agree with the sentiments that he won't really be here when we pick in the real draft, but I think he fits organizationally really nice. Wouldn't mind if we traded up a few spots to get him.

I would have voted for Dustin Rose, had he been listed.
