I didn't think eminger was slow, thought he had better wheels than girardi and McCabe. Gilroy hit the post but other than that is a pinching machine and that is something we cannot afford with McCabe as his partner who may be our slowest skater. Eminger looked fine and added a physical presence we lack. Rather see him over gilroy any day.
Girardi had a bad game, very rare for him this season, Mccabe is very slow and defensively challenged. I like the way he thinks shot 1st, if Rosi did that he would have 20 goals every year....
The Rangers winning or losing has no effect on me being in the mood. It only changes the manner in which things go down. Rangers win = me being content = gentle and loving. Rangers lose = me being frustrated = fierce and ravenous.

I can't believe the difference between game one and game two for McCabe. With Staal back I'm hoping our third pairing gets glued to the bench. It has potential to be much much worse than the Gilroy/MDZ pairing.
Idk what else to say anymore, its becoming so repetitive, with the same excuses. Im so sick of sooo close, but not enough. Big game with the Hurricanes/Sabres matchup also on tonight, and with Toronto inching closer to the playoffs with their win last night. Hoping the Wild sink into the way they played last night, instead of playing well because they lost to the Islanders.

i was supposed to go to the game tonight but got a last minute taker for the tickets so let someone else pay me to suffer through 30-40 minutes of unbearable hockey.
if no one takes my tickets for sunday, that will be the last game i go to this season, im over it. im just hoping hank makes it through this season in one peice thats my only concern at this point.

I would have to disagree, Girardi is a good defenseman, but Staal has been carrying and covering for him on many nights. His lack of foot speed and poor outlet passing has been extremely noticeable without Staal. Girardi has been a good solider for us, he blocks a ton of shots, usually is in good position, and rarely takes penalties, but he has not been very good lately. I am hoping Staal's return will help his game get back to where it should be.
