For what it's worth THN's Top ten for the Sabres:

7.Marc-Andre Gragnani
8.Drew Schiestel
9.Jerome Gauthier-Leduc
10.Dennis Persson
That list is beyond weird. Persson at 10? No Brennan? Gragnani at 7?

I find it also interesting that every notable source (Bakes, Hockey's Future, THN) has Pysyk higher than McNabb. 1st rounder bonus?

Pysyk's got great skating and a fine mind for the game (his positioning and anticipation are top notch), natural talents that should give him the edge on McNabb long-term.

Heartening to see four guys in their top 75 and two in the top 20. Foligno's stock has clearly jumped with the move all the way up to 53 in THN's list. Battling his way onto the Nats and then being one of the best Canadian forwards through the tournament can do wonders for one's recognition.

Not disagreeing, those scouts certainly know a lot more than I do, I think McNabb's upside is a top-4-dman, guess that makes Pysyk's a solid #2?

Have to admit that Pysyk has grown to me a lot, I (like so many) wanted them to draft Etem or Howden and "hated" the pick.

I would have thought Byron at the bottom.

Persson likely gets the benefit of the doubt as a former first rounder. Byron likely doesn't due to his stature, like always. Seeing Enroth dropped down the list is also indicative of the move from smaller netminders to super-sized athletic freaks who can play.
