So I think our playoff odds went down.
Think of it this way. Going in to today we had 2 games in hand on 8th place and down by 2 points.

After tonight we have 3 games in hand on 8th place and 2 points out.

Just a different team to chase.

Really, were talking about playoffs instead of the Canes. Rangers have 70, Sabres got 68 and 3 games in hand. Canes are ahead by 3 points and Sabres have 2 games in hand. Still everything is in their own hands.

As long as this is true I don't think we need to panic just yet.

I guess we can have "Sabre Fan only GDT's"

that will be nice, alot less aggravation

All GDT creators just put (Sabre Fans only) in the title and I guess that is all it takes

We definitely don't need to panic yet, but it's just frustrating seeing Buffalo only getting a point in a game they had no business losing.

Not sticking up for Miller here, but watch Marc-Andre Fleury sometime, he's just as bad if not worse

Hey, Hasek sucked at puck handling too.

I missed the first goal against, but Miller definitely ****ed up big time on the second goal. Stop trying to be Marty Brodeur.

As does Lundqvist. I guess handling the puck isn't a prerequisite to being a top goaltender.

And one of the best puck handlers in the league is Rick Dipietro.

Stay in the net Miller.

The frustration on Miller's gaff is compounded by the scorers all having gone south (pun intended). Every now and then, pick one up for your 'tender. Instead, the scorers pitch an oh-fer on the powerplay and misfire on a number of glorious chances. Eh.

It'll be interesting to see if they can regroup after the loss. Philly is certainly not going to be pleased, at home, after giving up the lead to lose to the Leafs.

This. Especially after he stole the last game for them. While I love the improvments to Vanek and Stafford's overall game, they need to score for their goaltender when he's having an off night.
