I'd have felt a lot worse driving up to the RBC tonight for this game had we not beaten New York in regulation Tuesday night. I've never been to a Sabres/Carolina game in which we've won and I've never been to a Canes game in which they've lost so my track record is a bit ominous. Hopefully tonight will change that.
Can someone give me the Center Ice Game slot on which our broadcast is? (Ie center ice game channel 2, 3, etc). Preferably mayday or someone in NYC - I'm on Fios. Trying to set dvr to record from phone but info doesn't state which gamechannel the game is on - just says "nhl hockey"...thanks in advance
Nice, they should all stay home. That way we don't have to listen to whines about
how we don't know anything about hockey/rude/drunkards. Hey Pat, eat a baby
tonite!
It's always amusing, win or lose, to hear the Canes fans crying about all the mean ol' Sabres fans in their arena. It's not our fault that the Sabres have a broad, national following. If they don't want Sabres fans at the game, I dunno, maybe they should buy the tickets and go themselves.
Same reason I don't mind that Leafs fans invade HSBC. They bought their tickets, they have a right to be there and cheer for their team. If Sabres fans don't like it, they can buy up all those tickets themselves, and not re-sell them to Toronto fans. On the contrary, I think it's nice that the Leafs fans want to contribute to the Sabres' bottom line by buying the pricy tickets to those gold-level games.
By the same token, the Canes fans should be happy that thousands of Sabres fans want to pay good money for game tickets, food and drinks at the RBC Center. It's not as if the team gets stellar attendance on its own, otherwise.

I definitely hate Carolina the most of any other team in the league. Sens may be close, Leafs and Flyers down the list a bit. I wish I was in Carolina for this game, and not just because it's 15 degrees and windy out right now.

Cross-posting from one board to another isn't allow all. My advice? Let Canes fans have their vent on their board and Sabre fans have theirs here. I can promise you that being as ass over there will be viewed harshly. If you enjoy your posting privileges, don't take the (flame) bait.

Absolutely loving all the "Hurrican Hate" in this thread, theres no team I hate more in the league and on top of that I live there during the winter time and Hockey Tradition is non-existent in about 90% of both Carolinas combined. I won't be happy until that team is moved or regularly at the bottom of the league. What true fans they do have I respect and apologize for being a class A &%$# but I just can't help but hate them and have since Arturs Irbe was in net. With that being said I would like nothing more than to see Buffalo wipe the floor with them tonight and move into 8th. However I just get the vibe that tonights game will be a defensive struggle as both teams will not want to give either any ground. Buffalo wins it in OT;
