With the signing of Reid Duke as of recent, who are some other prospects (Mainly 96 born in junior, AHL/ECHL contract guys or Europeans) that Vegas might have an eye on.

Based on my region the WHL:

Tyler Wong
Zak Zborovsky
Chad Butcher
Steven Owre
Keegan Iverson
Reid Gardiner
Lane Bauer
Matt Alfaro
Dawson Leadahl
Brayden Burke
Tyler Sandhu

with McCrimmon working with Vegas, I can definitely see some WHL players signing... I can see Butcher being signed

They could have their eye on some Russian/Swedish UFA's (like Edjsell)

In this draft, I think it would be a good idea to target Casey Mittlestadt. He is a tremendous offensive talent but his defensive game is lacking. I think he would be able to develop at his own rate in University and not be rushed into the league by Vegas. They most likely won't be a playoff team year 1 or 2 which means they should let him grow.

Yup, I definitely feel if they pick around 4-5 they should target him. They should get solid defensemen in the ED but not many second liners if any. They should go for an offensive forward

Idk what his draft status is, but Artur Tyanulin from the 67s should get some pro looks based on this season.

Darren Raddysh probably gets a look out of the O from a free agent perspective.

Look for them to draft a couple 1997 guys later in the draft out of the CHL who can play pro next year to give them options.

Also, the Jets had someone in camp and he definitely deserves a contract, he's in the Q, I'll dig him up

Edit: Antoine Waked, doesn't have high end potential but he could be great depth/3rd line material

Good WHL list, I mentioned it before but Parker Gahagen seems like he'll be a Knight. Reasons:

Senior
Playing for the Army Black Knights (Foley)
Having a second straight terrific season, single handedly winning games
Made case for Hobey Baker (nominee)
Vegas is going to need a goalie at the AHL level since they can only take 3 in the draft I believe.

Vegas can take as many goalies as they want in the ED as long as they met the minimum for the forward/defense. As for Parker Gahagen I can see Vegas signing him plus a CHL overager such as Jordan Papirny or Jeremy Brodeur.

Was going to post about him. Vegas hired a scout from Rouyn-Noranda so I imagine he's on their radar. Only way he doesn't go there is if he gets a better offer elsewhere IMO.
