Love that your goaltending views line up with mine pretty much. I agree that Antoine Samuel should be a late 3rd/early 4th round pick but I have a feeling he'll end up sliding into the 5th round where I really hope the Avs snap him up.

It is much more likely that less than half of these guys succeed as NHLers.

Isn't that already assumed when talking about any draft eligible players?

It appears that speed and quickness are common traits among prospects from the Q. Though you can tell this from watching some QMJHL games or their Super Series teams.

I might be a pessimist but at best i think 16-18 players get pick out of the Q this year.

I do not think he is a better hockey prospect than the players I listed before him

I think that's more of a prediction of what they would become if they did make it, not saying they will all make it.

I'm a bit intrigued by Gabriel Bilodeau for a late round pick. Any Q watchers care to comment?

Well... Yeah, he's ranked 133 among North American skaters, but I can't find much for film or scouting on him. What I can find is mildly intriguing - I was thinking 6th or 7th round pick.

Interesting list. Thank you for doing this!

What is your take on Gauthier's year? I liked him whenever I saw him, what do you think he needs to work on?
