Yeah, saying this goalie got 42 wins and that goalie played the whole 70 games....

If you compare the oldies this way, you have to think that they also had a STACKED team that won every year....

Put carey back in the 5 consecutive CUps, and they get 5 straight perfect season.

Guys like Brodeur played 70+ games for 10 years...Price will be fine...he is having a great season, and the Habs are lucky that he has risen to the occassion....

I heard on the radio this morning that Price equalled a Habs' record regarding the # of shutouts during a season. Is this right?

He already has done that when they were largely favored......

BTW, that's a nice contest for tickets you have up there on your website.
All the props to you for finding that out. Few people have found out.

Not true. Georges Hainsworth holds that record with 22 shutouts in 44 games. We will probably never see that again.

Price has joined Dryden, Theodore, Roy and Huet with 7 in a season. Not the record though.

I updated the Projections and Tables for thoses interested.

Brodeur first played 77 games at the age of 24

brodeur also played 77 games last year as a 37 yr old and got 45 wins

im not worried about carey getting those loads.
