I am hoping for two and half months of goal scoring streak from Gabs and the rest of the crew and complete luck till the very end.

I don't want to jinx it but the past few games he has been shooting better than he has most of the season.

I mentioned this after the last game. He LOOKS like the old Gabby in the last 2. His shot has been lethal and he's had an extra gear we haven't seen in months.

completely different player since he returned...makes you wonder how long the concussion was a problem since they didn't know when it happened.

I absolutely hate how hard most of you guys were on Gaborik this season. This fan base sometimes

He would need 9 goals in 10 games to hit 30. You really think he can do that?

I saw something was different in warmups before the game. It looked like he had an extra jump in the wrist shot. He was firing absolute missiles at Hank during it. I hate to be one of those guys that comes back afterwards and says "I could tell from the beginning that he was gonna have a good game" but it definitely looked like he was ready to play.

"Can"? "Can" for sure. "Can" easily. I don't know that he will given how his season has gone. But the last couple games I do have to agree that he "looks" like Gaborik. He has given Joe Micheletti a reason to once again gush about "the release".

This is a guy thats had shoulder surgery, a leg injury and a concussion all in the same year and STILL has 21 goals and 44 points on the season. The guy is legit. We need a bonafide #1 center for him though.

He'll get 25 by the end of the season IMO.

How many more times do we play the Isles?

I definitely think so. Sprinkle in a couple of 2 goal games against weaker opponents and he for sure can.

It's not just about his shot--it's getting the opportunities and last night apart from the goal he didn't have a lot of chances. That was his only shot on goal. That he's got some goals lately is encouraging. The Gaborik of last year seemed to be getting on average 4-5 shots a game. He's way off that. If he could get to 27/28 I'd be happy with that.

Yeah he's been playing better and getting better shots lately. Hopefully he keeps it up! The Rangers would be a lock in the if he had a better season

Man imagine if Gabby never got hurt and scored his 50. We would be a top 4 team in the east. But hey if he can get going, we can deff play like one and upset teams in the playoffs. Because that's all we really need, we have a great balance of scoring with Duby, Cally, Artie, Stepan and Boyle, if Gabby can start going with our defense and goaltending, it'll hard for us to lose games.

Quite frankly imo with gabby playing like last year we are a top 4 team in the NHL. Unfortunately gabby has not done that at any point this year.

He is shooting the puck much better.

Even his goal last night, the puck wasn't just on edge, it was in the air and he still sniped it. Add to that the way he recovered the loose puck and just let it go.

If we get Richards, I think he and Gabby are going to be a nightly highlight reel.
