Who shows up tonight: the team that went toe-to-toe with the NHL's best, or the team that couldn't get 2 points from the NHL's worst?

Seems like the perfect time to use the "Charlie Sheen meter"

Good plays get the golf clap (rating 1-5)

Bad plays get the crazy Sheen.

Edit: Maybe not so much of the animated gifs....boards might crash again. Plus would piss off those with slower connections.

They better show some heart tonight! What a total loss this road trip has been. No heart, no wins, and dropping like a rock in the standings! What a major choke!

You're last sentence applies to the Edmonton game, not the previous two. If Garon doesn't kick out the rebound at the end of the Pred game, we most likely have a point there maybe two. The Nuck game was alot of heart, the skills competition in that game let us down.

Needless to say, it's time to sack up.

The lack of effort in last night's game will bite us. There is separation and we're on the wrong side of it.
I don't know what to expect tonight

Last night was so frustrating. I'm not even mad at the team, I'm disappointed. They can play so much better but they decided to shat the bed anyway. But it was one game, and tonight's a new opportunity for redemption. I'm still enjoying the energy Scottie's bringing to the game, hopefully it'll rub off.

4-2 good guys this time.

In two starts against the Flames this season, Mason holds an awful 0-1-0 record, 7.46 GAA and .704 SV%.

Yesterday is forgotten, lose today and we're officially out.

Let's move Calvert to the top line. He is 5x better than Jake right now. Plus, the comedy of Jake and Umby on the same line would be priceless. We'll call it the "Barn" line, as in "couldn't hit the broad side of".

OK, whew. Had to get that out.

Let's do this!!!!

Need to end with 5 points on this road trip. Let's not forget that this road trip is part of 2 separate segments in Coach Arniel's mind. Last segment, we got 7 points (in five games) and in this segment, 8 points are still available.

I repeat, Let's do this!!!!

Ok 3 losses in a row, time to reboot this roadtrip. Hopefully the boys will take all this out on the Flames and then carry it back onto the Blues. Really really need some points in the W column.

Jackets find a way to win.

Can we get rid of these "Editions"? I'm tired of hearing about Charlie Sheen from the news to sports, never mind having pics and other crap of him in this thread.

We don't have to have a theme for every GDT.

I don't care if we have a GD theme or not, but I am already beyond done with Sheen. It's truly incomprehensible how often he's been referenced in sports media in the past week! Just because one of his blithering rants included "winning"? I don't get it.

Sometimes the theme's work. But for some reason every one now has to have a theme. Instead of being creative we just seem to be forcing it. I'd rather have quality then quantity.

Obviously I am one voice and probably in the minority, as it's really not an issue. It's just been annoying me for weeks now and my other, more subtle hints, have been mostly ignored.

If there is any heart in the room, and I suspect there is, the Jackets come out flying. Goaltending, don't let us down, and we'll get back on track. If not, at least there's a fridge full of Commodore Perry waiting for me.
