Great move by Troy but he needs to pound that through or elevate it over the pad.

Peters has always had that Roloson skill to take that mask off...

Pretty iffy play by the Hawks at the end there.

That play by Hossa to end the period is what hockeys is all about. It will not show up on any stat sheet.

Nice period by Frolik.

What is wrong with your brain???Why do you love Turco, and can't understand common sense? Corey will be fine he is 26. Ride him as long and hard as possible, listen I like Turco as a person as well, but his play is unsatisfactory, and the Hawks are not safe yet.

How many wins does he have to get in a row for you to get it?20?

22-5 Hawks lead in the faceoff circle.

In other news...Devils win again. 2-1 in OT over the Pens. Kovalchuk with his 6th game winner in 12 games. Devils 19-2-2 in their last 23.

Forget Turco. Crawford has played like a number one all season while Turco has played like an aging vet on the last leg of his career. Unless we're playing three games in four days, the closest I want to see him to the ice is on those terrible deodorant commercials.

Great...then bring up whomever we have playing in the AHL. I don't care if Turco ever steps on the ice again. He's a .500 goaltender this year, at best, and his GAA is more bloated than a Twinkie floating around in Lake Michigan.

Can Kopecky stop throwing the puck out of the offensive zone?

Campoli really likes to jump in the rush. That was shades of James Wisniewski there.

Anyone got a stream for a desperate and disgruntled Rags fan watching scoreboards?

but with carolina putting peters in its a very good situation to put turco in aswell and give crawford a bit of a rest, especially if they wanna play him tomorrow as toronto has been waking up as of late.

it comes down to this. CC needs a rest soon, it shows in his play. if you had the choice to either give CC a rest and put turco in against a backup who has had a shaky stint this year, or would you rest CC the following day against a team thats on a winning streak and a hot goalie on the other side? the choice is fairly obvious if you ask me, turco should have been in tonight.

Man. Kane had a great chance prior to his penalty....then Hossa and Toews with great SH opportunity. Penalty over.
