wow that had to be tough to stomach for a bit there
Agreed......although I'm ok with people yelling during breaks in the song, the things like let's go devils or yeaaa marty, I just think it's a cool effect
As far as leaving games early, I stay the entire game, it was tough, but I stuck it through the 6-1 loss against Buffalo early in the season
That yelling kindve annoys me. The only thing I've heard from a crowd that I liked was at the Hurricanes. When the singer sings "oh say can you see" during the you see part the whole crowd yells Jussi for Jussi Jokinen and then during "the rockets red glare" the whole crowd yells "red". Sounds odd typing it but it's quite powerful hearing the whole crowd doing it.
That game still haunts me. Left a few minutes before Mac's goal. Heard the horn and cheers on the escalator..... thought about going back.. didnt. Got to the car turned on the radio and wanted to cry.
Wow, that's terrible. I almost fainted when Pando scored. I might have cried too, don't remember. I know I almost fell over the glass in the first row. My dad always left games with a minute or two left at CAA back in the day. Of course we left once down by one and found out Brylin tied the game with 1.8 seconds left and I think we won in OT. I never leave early anymore, no reason to.
Anyway, the real reason I came back here was because I still have the game on my DVR, so I watched kovy score...about 80 times, and I saw this rags fan in slow motion...can't stop laughing.
