Edmontons 2011 1st round pick for Brayden Schenn

Would LA fans accept Edmontons 2011 first round pick + a prospect for Brayden Schenn?

Our first round pick is either going to be first overall or second overall.
So I think it's very fair value.

The Brayden Schenn mancrush in Edmonton is like Bieber Fever

LA wont trade their top prospect for another pick/prospect who is further behind in terms of development; an important thing for a rising club like the Kings.

Also, why do the Oilers do this?

Why would LA want a 1st overall pick when they could have Bozak and a third?

In before the lock.

1: This should be labeled proposal.
2: 2 Schenn's might be fair value for first overall.

Please, don't drink and blog.

No chance the Oilers deal the potential first overall pick for Brayden Shenn. Shenn's a nice player but doesn't project to be a first line center which the Oilers need desperately. RNH fits that bill.

GREAT IDEA! LA should clone Brayden Schenn so every team could have one! After all, he's more desirable that Ovechkin, Crosby, Stamkos and Malkin!

LOL, as if a 1st overall pick would get you Kopitar or Doughty. The Kings aren't a rebuilding team. That 1st overall pick is going to help the Oilers a hell of a lot more than it would help the Kings.

Why does Schenn have this OHL era Lindros like aura around him lately?

I'd rather have Larsson or Landeskog before Schenn.

The Oilers need to draft Larsson. If Ottawa gets the first overall and Edmonton the second, then they should try to trade for the 1st pick in order to draft Larsson. They have good young forwards but very little D, they need Larsson as part of the rebuild.

They really need one of Couturier or RNH more.

Explain why he's not a first line center?

I am pretty sure he is projected to be a second line centre by most experts, isn't he?

Kovalchuk, Fleury, Nash, Ovechkin, Crosby, EJ, Kane, Stamkos, Tavares, and Hall are the last 10 1st overall picks and Schenn isn't and likely never will be as good as any of them. Tambo is a moron if he traded the first overall for a ridiculously overrated Schenn.

Deal! I'd LOVE to add Larsson to the Kings blueline. Plus, I already see Loktionov as our future 2nd line center

How many second line centers are the number one prospects in hockey? When he was drafted he was said to be a top 6 center in the mold of Mike Richards. He's only improved his game. He may not be your 90 point, offense only type, top line center but there is nothing about him that points to him not being able to play top line minutes.

In regards to trading the POSSIBLE first overall, who the hell cares? He's the best prospect on the planet. Can you guarantee that the Oilers will win the lottery and draft a player who will earn top prospect honors?

Lokti would be great if he could just stay healthy. He looked great playing in the NHL but he's had 2 major injuries in the past 2 seasons now....not looking good.

Oilers say hell no. Don't need more 2nd line centres. I'd rather have Couturier, RNH, Larssen, Strome, Huberdeau, Hamilton, Siemens over Schenn, so no dice.
